-With Return of the Fallen, there's a chance that your destroyed ship will return to the battle..
I had some big fight with my Eradica + Fleet, and I have yet to see Return of the Fallen and the temporary ressurect of enemy ships to work. Using Purification on temporary alive ships of the enemy would probably make alot more sense than sacrificing your own ships for that purpose. But as said, either I

And from my experience so far, the coronata is far more useful than the eradica. Eradica has a strange skill setup with an ultimate only woking when the ships dead....
Or you walk in with the Coronata's ultimate and immediately take control of the planet. That thing is WAY more powerful then the Deliverance Engine for this purpose because instead of neutralizing the planet you actually get ownership. It also requires one shot, never fails, and doesn't require you to spend the resources to build Deliverance Engines.
Yeah so you have Rebels with a underpowered superweapon, and Loyalist with a

Well you could also change the Novalith just into dealing %-based damage instead of total damage. Upgraded Asteroids and Moons have 2500HP, a Novalith simply does more than that. It could just do 90% damage which are reduced by certain percentages through the techs mentioned, and planetary shields.

Ok, so Rebels got 3 new ships, Titan, Corvette and Capital. The new capital ship for advent is quite alright I think, the first 2 abilities together reduce some enemy armor and do good area damage, also the ship itself hasn't as bad damage as the tec one ^^. And, big bonus, it looks like a whale xD. The corvettes debuff is interesting, though it may be bugged, because I've never seen an enemy ship get it yet. Only thing I would change if I could is, that the HP-Shield
Dear Forum, I really think the advent super weapon is a joke. Its easily counterd with 1/2 culture spreaders ( temple of xx / broadcast center) Yesterday i build 6 of them, i target 6 different planets and all off them fall to my culture for 1-2 minutes then it dissapates. What did it reallt accomplish? nothing imo. If have 6 novalith I could nuke 6 asteroids - 3 planets. If i had 6 of the vasari I could destroy al
I played three games last night, and the AI seemed to do really well with keeping it's flagship alive in the flagship mode.
Yeah it's really great at just placing it at the Capital planet, and withdraw it from any battle. Want a really easy start into a game vs AIs, just enable Flagship Victory. You will get quite a nice extra ship at start, while the AI just doesn't use it at all.

Ok, maybe I didn't explain clear enough, I had this bug with the AI attacking friendly planets with novalith 2 times yet. Both times it happened after I had my Titan invisible before that(so self destruct and rebuild...), and yes, I did have a peace treaty then. I just meant to confirm that (for me) the bugs went together so far. Thing is, I also had games where none of the bugs happened, so it's a bit like either it's totally bugged or not at all fr
first problem was ship who dissappear ( visible in the left tree but not in the game itself )... once this happen all the rest is mess up ( diplomacy failure, trade line failure, proximity mine failure, etc )... maybe the bug who make ship dissappear break down the game who begin to run amok and have strange behaviour in non related thing... somehow like a stack buffer overflow who corrupt adjacent data and lead the sofware to cras

I've played a game versus 8 hard AIs, when I took theplanet for ocupation victory 4 of them were still alive. So Can't say if harder AIs will do better. Anyway, hard AI is far less difficult at the moment than in Diplomacy still (or I have gotten way better Oo). In the 30 minutes I needed to win the game, none of the AIs moved and attacked the planet, which is rather boring. For the Capital Victory at least AI seems to be working, as they always retreat
Another problem is the magnetize ability can not target titans.
I suppose the reason for this might be, that it is not intended to prevent the use of titan abilities? So far Magnetize ist the only Ability rendering the target unable to use abilities I think. (also 1 Magnetize Spamming Dunov could prevent a titan from using abilities all alone, whicht would make a decent loyalist titan counter, but still it's quite alot of

I think this is related to the type of AI (offensive, researcher, etc.) the AI is, it seems some of the templates are bugged and won't send envoys, while at least one type does. I had 3 friendly AIs in one game and only 1 sent envoys when I gave the mission. Though as they were set to random, I can't reconstruct this assumption for sure.
a few more issues : - diplomacy pact info card ... it is wrote "requires xx.xx relationship", who mean relationship >= to xx.xx but in the game mechanic, it is relationship > to xx.xx ... maybe change infocard with "require more that xx.xx relationship"... example below... Also I think pacts between same races should get a bit strengthend. You only get half the bonus from allying with a same race than with another race I think? (Though maybe that has a distinct reason?) So, changing Rebel and Loyalist Pacts a bit from each other would also solve that issue for a part. 1/6 you can't ally for full bonus is a lot better than 1/3 ;).

Why not integrate multiple pirate difficulty settings too? That way newcomers can still have weak pirates, while experienced p

Especially the Moon type planet has a very low texture at the moment (you could say it is really ugly ;)), even lower than the other playnet types. Though it might be possible, that the better texture just isn't inside the game yet. 64-bit would be nice to have indeed.

I played a game with 7 AIs and exaclty one of them used it's titan out of it's own home system. Though it still held all the capitals back and blew the titan up against a full upgraded starbase.... So no "Intelligence" at the moment there ;).
