Two new themes in the works by RedneckDude: Tracer and Excalibur. They are part of two community suite projects lead by AVMAN, and comprised of several outstanding artists. I have to say, Tracer DX is looking AWE-some! I had a chance to play around with it, and my oh my! You will want to get it as soon as it's available.
Ain't she sweet! [e digicons]k5[/e]

This is good input. I still like the "skin for yourself theory" but I get a lot of pleasure knowing that others find my work useful. I am growing accustomed to less sound, as Vista is a bit quieter than XP.
how about a toggle?
I haven't figured that one out yet, I will tho. Meanwhile, as I stated, Vista users can turn off, or turn down only the DX sounds. The speaker in your systray, when clicked, will bring up sliders for each sound source running and you can control it there. There may be a way to adapt the recoloring script that Martin posted on the " what would you like to see in DX 4 " thread to raise and lower volume for DX sounds, dunno about toggling. My re

John, you just keep getting better, so I can only imagine the mirrored look this one is bound to have! A windowblind I can see myself in....gives a whole new meaning to the word 'blind'.

Yes, Thanx, Eve! I love this article and you are so good to me. Half of the work you showcased by me today is due to you and your scripting prowess!! Someone should do an article on, or interview you. You are the Queen of DX and my favorite scripter, scriptwriter, coder, whatever the word is!! Thanx! I just wanted to get a general idea of whether or not people want sounds in the DesktopX themes or not. If you don't mind, voice your opinion here. Now that Vista gives us the ability to control these sounds, as a whole, I wish to know what you want. Thanks for your time! [e digicons][/e]
RedneckDude: It should have worked on Windows Vista just fine (it uses the same files as Windows 7)
Neil, I should be ashamed of me. It loaded with a windows 98 taskbar, I freaked and ran system restore, rather than trying to mess with it. I was still frustrated from the MyColors World of Warcraft fiasco. Sorry. BTW, this thread was intended as a joke. [e digicons]:-"[/e]

Well guys, I have just made a very awesome improvement to Tracer DX, thanx to the help of sViz and her scripting prowess!! I am about certain that it is finished this time. I will put on skydrive and call it Tracer DX Final, so you'll know it's the latest.
If you did not get the beta for WindowBlinds 7, you aren't missing anything. No new functions, same GUI and no new skins. Must be all internal tweaks trying to make it compatible with Win 7. It was probably not meant for public release.
I got it on Vista. By the time I went to 7, it wasn't there. I came back to the post, and it was nuked. It didn't work on Vista for me.
