OH, just because we are all predominantly electrics, one for the accousties, Andy Mckee. One of the finest fingerers in the business, for those who don't know, just Youtube the guy.

well he first mentioned the problem on the 7th of June so he's been kind enough to give Stardock/GPG almost 2 months to fix the problem, I Think (being the great people that they are), there wouldn't be any problem with a refund. DoW2 also suffered from this but apparently it might just be fixed in the newest patch, the patch notes say "Fixed a networking bug that caused users to lag and disconnect due to a proxy communication problem." and the usual sufferers arn't reportin

At least the noobs know that Pro's are people who make a living from doing a certain thing and don't just call themselves Pro to make themselves feel superior. Maybe thats why the join, because they are players, and you are players, and the aim of the game is to play not stroke your E-peen.
Did you put that in just to shut me up for once? :D It would have been preferable to have the Demo out a lot sooner but still, excellent show guys (finally cracked the whip on Mister Supcom eh?). Quite a few of my friends have been interested from seeing it at the Local LAN sessions, this might just hook them into buying. 6 more sales for Stardock on there w
No. A 3v3 of demigod on cataract for about half an hour will take about 40ish megabytes. *from someone who has been at the nearly capped end of an australian internet connection*
Dunno where i got 55hrs from. Did a proper calculation and you're close-ish. Looking at about an hour and a half for 100mb in a 3v3. Remember kids...don't calculate while tired! :(

It depends on how many players you have as its P2P, however if i remember correctly a 3v3 (aka 5 players) resulting in a standard rate of about 15kbps, so lets say 3kbps per player. So for 100mb you're looking at 55hrs non-stop 3v3 gaming.

Not to be a spoil sport but the windows button on the carbon skin is a little flat, could do with more 3dness to it. But they sure do look purdy *checks his bank account*
...have the four "classical" manas generated by the terreins you control (i.e. rocky terrein generates earth mana, water generates, well, water, and so on), with life and death being generated as oer DD's most-preferred system with things actually living and dying, regardless of terrein. Might be hard to balance, but I'm sure we could figure out a way eventually.
That would actually be a very interesting gameplay mechanic (possibly

Evidence would be appreciated, otherwise you could just be hating on Pradedushka because he beat you or something.

While thats true, Katana only mentioned these problems after the game acts up so we must assume that the evidence provided was gathered during those times (ie when the game is running). They are the result of, rather than the cause of the issue. Unless Katana can clear the issue up and tell us these things occur apart from the game. :)

Read it again spooky. "In the lobby its fine, but in game it gets really bad generally stuttering the game, with pingspikes over 3000...it suddenly says I have 1 mbps, while normally I have 54." Look at the chronology of events. Game boot (fine)....lobby for game (fine)....game start(spiking). and because shouting works....THE GAME IS CAUSING IT! :P
"customers are a bunch of freeloading jerks"
The irony is so called "pirates" have a higher legitimate purchase rate than non-pirates, and the existance of such piracy is beneficial for price manipulation of the market.

Its not the WLAN at fault. The fact the speed is crashing is for the very same reason the game is spiking. Upload saturation (which degrades download speeds as a result). This all occurs once the game commences which directly points to the game being at fault. What more is there to read?

The golden rule of sequels is to improve on the original. DoW2 does something strange and strips out stuff that the original had which is simply detremental to the game (for example stances). Demigod at least feels finished if a little threadbare. While DoW2 just felt like it was a CoH mod.

10 years of MUDing while drunk...i can happily pump out 75wpm with the screen all a blur. ;) I'll drop the issue though before the fanboys eat me up. I still consider it morally and (in the long term) financially incorrect of you to pursue this course of action. Bit of a cutting off your nose despite your face move. But aslong as you make/publish great games at a FAIR price...i'll still buy them. Maybe you could buy out everyone else eventually and make them all ok.
Don't you dare try and claim that you are just following the law, you arn't...you're following a contractual obligation YOU signed up to when negotiating with the publisher of various games. You can't have it both ways....either distributors follow their contacted limitations or they don't distribute. That in itself is legally binding. There is some twee assumption that online distribution works in a vacuum.&nbsp
