What demi where you that didn't have an aoe and where can I select it? Cause all 8 have multiple aoe's that you'd be hard pressed to somehow avoid skilling up.

If sniping became a problem all you'd need to do is apply a debuff that reduces snipe damage for as a long as the cooldown is. However, till arranged teams are more common I don't see much need to worry.
+1 for Ooze is awesome. Not only does it do 140 pbaoe dps, it reduces enemy attack speed by 40%. If thoe energy regen's are right then none of the % based mana regens are good for anyone outside of TB.
The strat is..... wait for it.... experience. As you can be told the perfect build but if the situation doesn't call for it, it won't matter. I suggest sticking with an assassin demi-god and just trying to figure out a build that works, for you and try it out. See where your weakness is and try to counter it. Say you're UB and you use venom spit alot, well you're going to have mana issues so you're going to want to get helms rather then boots or gloves first. Just focus on trying to build a s
The curren build I use is: Max spit Max Inner beast Max Ooze Max Foul grasp Max plague and 1 point in diseaded claws. Basically the build is designed to burst you quick to force the person run while the DoT's and your speed keep them from getting away safely. You generally spit then run in ooze and try to foul grasp them in the spit's puddle so they take some of the extra damage followed by them being stuck in melee range
One of the uses for mines is to throw them behind the demi-god so if he retreats he gets hurt and if he runs at you he risks getting hit by towers. Or planting a bunch by a specific flag. (the experience ones are normally not traveled by creeps.) Especially later game when you have a teleport item it can really be used to block demi-gods from running as you can close the distance faster then they can get out of range.
QoT can mulch shamblers for high health and they also damage anything around them... but they're a range unit so it kinda seems outta place. I have to say she's the weakest anti-demigod currently. After playing her a bit she can burst pretty well but she's squishes like a plush toy without both her shield and shambler mulch. I'm really liking oak and sedna though.

As a follow-up to the AT question, do custom games carry records or rankings in any form? I've always found record keeping to warp the game into a means to an ends rather than an ends in itself--record whores start coming into existance.
<
Wouldn't fireball just be skill 2? The one thing i'm annoyed with is the game doesn't recognize my mouses extra button. (It's a logitech wirelss laser mouse.) As being able to set select hero and select minions with two buttons on my mouse would be handy.
It's a bug but when you consider you try to kill the general first anyways it doesn't really matter.

But I was kinda disapointed with Demigod because I don't have any bugs or problems so I have nothing to do or tweak. Everyone gts a bit of a shock when they first face hard / nightmare. You may just need to get some more experience on what to buy and what to level up. Also they get a 15%/30% bonus so it's natural for them to be stronger then you.

To me DotA is an "okay mod" one that saved WAR3 from failure. Your subjective opinion has no bearing on whether or not Warcraft 3 was an objectively good title. To somehow claim that WAR3 would have failed were it not for DoTA is an outlandish and terrible inaccurate claim with no basis in fact. Warcraft 3 was

So take a look at Sins of solar empire and Supreme commander. There are still updates to them and expansion packs. I think Demigod will last more than 5 years. I agree with this statement. We aren't talking about a company that's going to sit idle and counting their cash as soon as the game ships.
