Why should we have to jump through so many hoops to get these new Demigods? First it was Demon Assassin (which I have NEVER been able to unlock in singleplayer, even after following all the suggestions. Thankfully he's just not worth playing anyways.) where you had to login to multiplayer or run as administrator or whatnot. Now you have to add Oculus to your account before you can play him. Why can't all this be done through the patch? Unless this is some form of battling pira

Hakkonen, the game was delivered complete with all Demigods present. Demon Assassin and Oculus are 2 brand new demigods that are being introduced through a patch. Kind of like how in World of Warcraft they continue to release brand new content through major patches. Read the forums more.
Well, that's just a false dichotomy,
You're not using that phrase right and it appears you're just trying to throw big words into the discussion to make yourself look smart. My supposition is not a false dichotomy as I made no reference to a 'either/or' scenario. There are many many aspects to game development. Gameplay is one of them and I happen to think it is the most important one.
animations enrich every aspect of every game, remember Resident Evil 4

The problem with your posts Hortz are that you assume EVERYONE thinks the same way that you do. Meaning, you're assuming that EVERYONE thinks the animations are the most important part of the game. Sadly, you are very much mistaken. I happen to think, along with a lot of other people (including Frogboy I believe) that GAMEPLAY is the most important part of a game. Ever play M.U.L.E. back in the 80's. They have remade that game as a web-game and the graphics for it are

Well, unfortunately for you and anyone else that just wants to 'get in, play for 15 minutes' and get out, this game was not developed with you in mind. It was developed for those people who enjoy playing games like Civilization, Hearts of Iron, Galactic Civlizations, Master of Magic and any other turn-based strategy game. Games of that sort almost NEVER last less than even a single hour and generally take anywhere from 3 to 30 hours to play. You're actually the very first person to mention an
Thats exctly the point im making. When you just wanna get on and relieve some stress for the day. And you join a match/game between some random people and the game ends up taking 15 days instead of 15 minutes.
Sounds like this isn't the game for you. I don't understand the need to sound off on a game that is completely out of your fun range it seems. Why bother posting? I mean, there are games that have been deve

Split Infinity by Piers Anthony. Saw it on a Goodwill shelf along with 2 sequels and grabbed them up. I read it when I was a teenager and rereading it as an adult is still enjoyable but you can clearly see that he's aiming his material straight at teenage boys. To the OP - Dracula is a great book. I remember picking it up in a college library just because it was on a paperback swivel stand and I was just going to read the first little bit to see if it was any good. Couldn

Also, I'm guessing that all 3 parts will be installed during the installation process but that once you're into the game you could play at any expansion level. Meanin

Yeah, there is a video at the end that basically just pans around your Demigod who is up on a pedestal or something like that. Can't remember if there is any voice work or text.

Bard's Tale - the original from the mid 80's. Countless hours on that game. Most of it was mapping out the dungeons. And there was a real sense of dread as I approached the final wizard's domain. Will never forget that one. Infiltrator - 1986. Had the worst possible time operating and successfully landing the helicopter. But I kept playing because it was so much fun. Don't think I ever got past the first helicopter mission. X

Downloaded it last night. I run it through Impulse and it does not overwrite your Entrenchment just like Entrenchment didn't overwrite the original. You can load up any of the 3 and they will preserve what they originally had. The new Diplomacy one is pretty cool with a new Diplomacy research tree. Haven't gotten too far just yet but looking forward to some long games.

It's communication like this that keeps me a Stardock fanboy. When I first got Sins of a Solar Empire, registered, and came here to the forums and saw this kind of stuff I was in total awe with respect for this company. So, I quickly gobbled most everything they developed or published. Keep up the great work. And like PBhead said. Give us the Diplomacy beta please.
Porn games count as games, I don't know why you keep trying to remove them. Nobody making another type of game will let it be released with the AO rating, because no AO game can get published on a console. Why is that? The console makers don't allow it. And why is that? Special interest "moral" groups (largley dominated by conservative types) jump on them if they do. Insane violence is perfectly okay as long as there's no naked people.
Never said porn games w
