Ok my question is this. Assuming there are new cap ships in SOASE 2, what do you think their specializations would be? Using TEC as an example, Kol= tank, Sova= air support, Akkan= colonization/fleet support, Dunov= fleet support, Marza=siege. Also do you think the preexisting designs will get a facelift? Just curious.
I'd rather see Joss live a long and ridiculously overcompensated life so he can 'start again' when the original acting ensemble are all old enough that re-casting them is a patently silly idea. But that's mostly because the chance of reassembling that ensemble seems vanishingly small. "Some tv or movie exec" would not do, but if Joss could pull both financing and casting rabbits out of his hat...shiny indeed.
You think? Personally, I can't think of any break out r
Um, Saint C, that bit about staunch Republicans and 'erections' on the town hall steps was just a bit of tongue in cheek and another dig at Palin... eg, the nipple slip and life-like statue for followers to worship. So no, 99% of my posts/comments in this (similar threads) are just a bit of tomfoolery and are not intended to be taken too seriously. Sure it's true that I think Sarah Palin is a complete airhead and would be disasterous for America if she ever got to be VP and/or presiden
I know this thread was technically necroed, but yes, I'd watch. Serenity's kill-off of the pilot (I forget his name too...) was JUST enough to justify a few major changes to the series, while keeping it the Firefly we all loved.
My bad. It wasn't too far down the off topic list and it caught my eye. Kinda fitting though isn't it?

I can't stand how people get so sactimonious about people shooting their dinner as opposed to having something raised in a cage. If you don't waste any of the meat and the animal isn't a

I think it's far more likely that they'd make another movie but even that's probably not going to happen. It's a shame too cause the cast really worked well together; far more so than most shows. I bought the movie on a whim after a coworker got me into BSG and was extremely impressed (by the by, the gag reel or whatever they called it was great). Not two weeks ago I bought the one and only season on dvd and now I'm hooked. It was pretty depressing though watching all
I have friends who live in Ketchican
Ketchikan is actually how it's spelled. Funny, I might know whomever you're speaking of. It's a small close knit community of roughly 13,000 within the city limits. Also Gravina (the isle of nowhere as it's been dubbed) isn't completely uninhabited and this bridge could potentially provide access to other communities in SE AK. I'm a resident of Ktn and don't personally think we need said bridge but I've b
thats because their land units can go over water!!!!!
No $h1t. My point was that that took away a third of their units and furthermore the diversity of the factions which are pretty much interchangeable now with the exception of the tech tree.
supcom isnt about units. its about armies.
Well put.

Am I to understand that it's foolish to expect a game to follow in the footsteps of it's predecessor? If you're reading this, are a fan of the original and it's expansion, and are interested in buying it then bear in mind that the original isn't even a relevant comparison. You don't even need to read between the lines. Everyone here is pretty much saying the same thing, and that is that this game might as well be named something else entirely. The only differ

Well put position. I bought the stand alone expansion to SupCom on a whim and it's since become my favorite game, closely followed by Sins. As a huge fan of the so called, "epic" class of rts; I was extremely dissapointed in the oversimplification you described. I don't know where the idea came from to completely scale down the game, nor do I care to find out. It just feels like they stripped away 75% of the units, made no advancements graphically,&nbsp
And the maps seem to be small so you aren't even a half a mile away from your enemy :/
I've thought this myself from some of the videos I've seen. However until I read a review I'm gonna keep an open mind. If everyone is making assumptions based on trailers then bear in mind these clips would most likely be of the beginning of the level. Therefore they will probably open up as you go, same as the Supcom 1. Still, I'm also concerned about gamepl

Just bought Order of War. It's not bad but I really hope this isn't the way the new Supreme Commander will play out. The commands are pretty easy to issue, especially with the ability to issue multiple troop transports to different locations pretty much instantly. This comes in handy since many of the battlegrounds can be pretty large, utilizing the whole map to complete objectives. However the pathing for group orders through chokepoints binds up your arm
People just love to point out how we only get into shit that effects us. AND your SEVERELY WRONG. You forget about the Tsunami in the south asian countries a few years back? We sent WARSHIPs to aid in humanitarian work....you might ask yourselves............why would the U.S. send a warship for a humanitarian effort? Ill tell you why, the U.S. Military is probably the best choice for the job, they have the tools, the resources and the ability to distribute those resources with hardly a
