I would love to have a darker blue (perhaps navy) and yellow window blind theme!!
I'm not sure if this is at all helpful, but in doing a search to disable in Chrome, it was mentioned to issue a command line switch: chrome.exe--disable-webgl Not sure how to do this. Hopefully someone will know.
I used to use Kaspersky Internet Security several years ago. All the tests and many people said it was the top protector. Then, my computer got a virus and my tech guy said it was so bad that my hard drive needed reformatting and Windows reinstalled. I've always been very selective about my internet activities and don't vary from the "beaten path." So, who knows.....
I love IconPackager and change it every time I change WindowBlinds. It's true there are few packages introduced these days; however, there are so many great ones already listed on WinCustomize that you should be able to find a style that works. I currently have 67 styles available on my computer.
I like IE9. But I also like Pale Moon and Chrome too. I probably use Pale Moon most. What do people use on their smart phones? I just got an Android and am trying to figure out which one to install.
Yes, only way to go is purchase Object Desktop!
I installed Pale Moon a few days ago and am really loving it! Thanks for letting me know it existed! Also, I just installed Internet Explorer 9 and really love that one too so far. It's really fast and shows more of the website you are visiting. Seems stable too.
I think you are right, Uvah. There was another program that did this to me too a while back. I've been trying to remember which one. It may have been Xion.
Hi Philly! Thank you for your suggestion. However, when I followed your instructions the same error occurred. I finally tried the Ignore option, and it finished installing. I've been testing to see if there are any problems, but everything looks great so far!
I LOVE IconPackager!! I change my whole computer theme about every three days. Here's my method (in order): 1. Install new WindowBlind 2. Install new IconPackage 3. Install new CursorFX 4. Install new SoundPackage (occasionally) 5. Install new ObjectDock skin 6. Install new SysMetrix skin 7. Install new Rainlendar skin 8. Install new weather widget 9. Enjoy for several days, then rinse and repeat!!! <
Thank you for your help! Here is a screen shot of the error message:
Very odd. I downloaded, tried to install, and received errors. I had to abort the installation. I then uninstalled 3.44 successfully, tried to install 3.45, and received the same errors. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
See, this is one of the many reasons why I love this site so much and visit several times a day!! I learn so many new things and get to download incredibly beautiful blinds, icons, cursors, widgets, etc. almost on a daily basis. Thanks DrJBHL and everyone else here!! [e digicons][/e]
I'm using FireFox 3.6.15 and the latest WindowBlinds and everything's working beautifully here. (Windows 7 64-bit) There were some odd things happening a few days ago. It ended up being that WinPatrol was causing issues. I had to uninstall the program. So, you may want to check your security programs to make sure nothing is conflicting.
Thank you everyone for this good security reminder. It's crucial to revisit good computer security practices regularly. I'm the one that keeps our five family computers running in tip-top shape, and these reminders/best practices threads help tremendously.

I'd like to add: Microsoft's Sync Toy 2.1 FileZilla There's lots of great ones here. Essentials for me include CCleaner, Revo, Picassa, and definitely LastPass.
Thank you everyone for your replies. *gmc2 - I followed your advice and that was EXACTLY what I needed!!! This way it was super easy to change a dark colored background back to white. Thank you very much, you're my new best friend!! [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
Hi! Occasionally I will load a blind that colors the window background color to the point where I can't read text. It's usually a problem for me in FireFox, note pad, and Outlook. I've searched in SkinStudio 7 to try to change it, but am baffled. My usual response is just to delete the skin and use something else. However, I have ObjectDesktop and know that it should be simple to adjust the skin to my liking. Could someone please help a complete
Definitely, Doc...we are now officially friends! [e digicons]:)[/e] Uvah - Thank you for the well-wishes, and Merry Christmas and God Bless to you and your family!
Thanks, RD! I sent a little gift for Wiz. The Lord has blessed me so much, and I love to share!
RD, could you please PM me your PayPal email address? Thanks!
I'd like to try and help the thread back towards a positive vibe. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my ObjectDesktop subscription and the unlimited downloads that provides here at WinCustomize. I can't imagine a "virgin" Windows computer any more. In all these years, I've only had one problem, that StarDock rectified almost instantly when I emailed them directly. I've never known a more talented, giving, and professional group as everyone here at WinCustomize. The skins
