I made a similar remark in another post... The problem I have with this type of speculation is that we have NO idea what is being added or removed for features or functions. Unless it references an issue one of us is having (like a note earlier today that stated the Devs are making any AI moves instant that are covered by FoW), the information given to us on upcoming changes is non-existent. We know that some things are changing, some removed completely or incorporated into another function/ability, but no indic
I have made it past 3000 turns, but only with a single AI opponent (the Iri's) that can't colonize beyond its starting colony ship without surveying lost colony ship(s) - See Steam Forum post Asset count & DB size in relation to crashes
OK, so here is the test layout and progression: Driver Version - Game result PM: Planetary Management Screen GM: Game Map Screen (varying zoom levels) 334.89 - PM: Smooth Planetary management screen background with moon. GM: usual turn cycle delays at relative zoom levels. 337.88 - PM: Choppy planet rotation until moon rotates into view, then planet rotation is smooth. GM: notic
Thanks for compiling this list. I am sure there are other ideas floating out there that have not been commented on yet, but let's see what a Dev's response is first.

Does Stardock have a list of what's planned to be in the game, but isn't yet? That way I won't list things that are on the way.
Yes! https://forums.galciv3
At the request of the Alpha support team, for a separate issue, I recently updated the drivers for my Nvidia GTX 470 from 334.89 to 337.88. I had also cleared the prefs.ini at their request, and that has not yet been changed. After updating, I immediately noticed that there are issues in game: Planetary management screen, and if that planet has a moon, the planet rotation stutters horribly until it's moon comes into view. Once that happens, it's smo
Gets my vote. Then I could up my AS frequency from every turn if I had 10+ (preferably user adjustable) available auto-saves.
Better add LucasArts (now Disney) to their target list then, for their release of Star Wars: Rebellion back in 1998, and even further back for the SW franchise in general. IMHO, they don't have a leg to stand on, but the legal system being what it is... Good Luck.

Would be interesting to see this, maybe as an addition to a Military SB? Might have to wait for a Xpac or DLC aplha/beta to see any attempts though.
Just started playing the new build, awesome job guys, I like the new maps. 1 issue I had was with the survey ship auto-survey pathing algorithm, in CalCiv2 game (too long since I played the first to remember) if a survey ship was going through unexplored territory and uncovered an anomaly that was closer than its current target it would immediately switch to the closer anomaly. The current version will complete its current turn, then switch t
General: Still getting menu screen tearing on either side when using an ultra-wide resolution (2560x1080). Related, also getting screen chop on planet build screen at both the top and bottom. Movies also are not snaping to height, only to width. Please FIX this as was also an issue in GC2, and never got fixed then either. (SS submitted) Minimap: Still has inaccurate targeting when using it to move to an area of the map. (SS submitted) Planet Screen:<
When submitting a ticket: * Either move the "Knowledgebase suggestions" to under the add files section, or make it collapsible. Scrolling through 10 pages of suggestions to add files is excessive. TBH, a knowledge-base section for alpha submissions is a bit ahead of itself... * Submission errors retain text entered, but do not show that they have either retained the files selected for submission, or that they were successfully uploaded.
