Thanks for this great new free, high quality content. Looking forward to paid DLC in the future, keep us updated on any developments on the possibility of paid DLC.

Thanks for clearing things up. Great post, very reflective, honest, and insightful. I for one would love more maps and Demigonds and would LOVE to pay for quality content like occulus and DA. More than anything a few more 2v2 or 3v3 maps are needed. I know many other would be willing to pay for this DLC, as well. Thanks again brad, and don't believe that the few, vocal malcontents speak for us all.

I think it is only natural for customers used to this behavior to get completely blindsided by something like this. It would be like you put your keys and wallet in the same spot for a year, and then your wife puts them inside a box in another room and you

Problem is most premades i see clearly aren't looking for real games just pug stomps. I entered two rooms lately, on one side was a team with 65% -ish each and a guy around 70%. The other team had two players one had 30% and the other 23%. Please. If you are a premade, join a game with proficent players, you might even get a challenge.
So, this game could still turn out to be a crap game but it won't be because they didn't incorporate a 15-min multiplayer game mode. It would be for such things as the diplomacy system is crap, or there's a huge imbalance in units, or the gameplay just stinks. However, with Stardock's track record, namely Galactic Civilizations II, I seriously doubt they will make a crap game out of Elemental.
Brad has actually talked a

Reg still seems weak with newest version (v1.2). I think the issue we are hitting on is health staking just crushes reg in 1v1 or AA dmg. That plus what others can do in dmg to reg, unfortunately still make him crippled. Shame really.
Thanks all! Game has been bought and is being downloaded - I love Christmas even though I don't celebrate it. Winter holidays, with cheap yet high quality games. Plus, sleeping is a lot of fun too Now I just have to wait while the game is downloaded using Impulse Anywhere. In the meantime, Cheers!
Why not just use impulse??? It is pretty good and makes updating easy.

Yes, I am a reg player primarily and hate pretty much all other reg players. Most reg players think they should just snipe and farm, but never help out teammates, worse yet are the ones who spend all there mana constantly sniping erebus and sedna with 4 monks sitting there. Or hell, only getting mana helms, no armor or speed and nver getting cit upgrades. But let's be honest shitty players are shitty players. Lots of noobs love the look of reg and play him with
I did the test and I have done it before - 0.26 mbps both upload and download. But I have to say that I can get consistently only about 192 kbps both sides. Anyway, I am going ahead and buying it. Even if my multiplayer experience is bad, which has a 50% probability IMO because of my distance from the servers, surely the game will be worth $7.5? I love both RTS and RPG, so I don't think I will regret it

@Spooly_ ahhh. I get it. That's too bad, I was really excited there for a bit. This is still nice, but new maps would be nicer (beggars can't be choosers). Is it possible to modify the scripts to have it generate 'longer' lanes to extend the map? Thanks, ThanatosESC.
The modding forum is, indeed, lively. There's some good stuff available already. Any update regarding the next frontier: map support? I think that this is at least as important as the Occulus release (which I, of course, look forward to).
Agreed any chance to help map modding should be done. This is definately as important as occulus. I don't know about eveyone else but Cataract i

Yes, connectivity has definately been fixed. I would agree with everyone here. The only lingering network issue is that most people don't have enough upload so 4v4 or 5v5 can be laggy depending on who is ingame. Sometimes 3v3 is laggy, but usually only if some idiot is torrenting while playing (or their flat mate).
