Try this: Make a custom map, 2 Star Systems, You start in 1, opponet in other. 2 Pirate Bases (One in each System) Pirates ON. Opponet: Hard (Or normal) First off, Spend a LOT of cash on bounty for your opponet. Get the threat rating to Critical. Next, Try to KILL THE PIRATES!! (Take their base for an achievement) If you can manage to do that, Replenish your forces and by now you can crush the opponet.

Build a fre research stations, the in the research panel, the 3'rd tab down on the right, click it, the upgrades on the top get you more capital ships, the ones on the bottom give you more crew for any ship. Each capital ship needs: 1 Crew (Upgrades on the top) 50 Supply (upgrade on the bottom)

If you change the values for a player, that player slot is assigned a planet in the map. IF YOU DO NOT START OUT AT THE RIGHT PLANET YOU WILL NOT GET THE MONEY. If you do not get the money quit the map and reload it. Keep doing this until you get the money.

Since this update is so huge and contains several brand new technologies, we are going to be offering it as an optional beta before its final release. If you are not comfortable with running potentially very buggy software (though we've tried to minimize it), do not install this beta - wait for the final release. This beta update will be available only through Stardock's new Impulse platform sometime in mid-July. W
