I know what you mean. While I am miles farther down the ladder from where you are, people will still leave almost all the games that I host with my friends. There is nothing else Stardock can do...people need to just quit being so OCD about win rates. Hopefully Ready to Play can solve some of these issues....Demigod is just so fun when I actually get to play it, I just wish people would do the game instead of lobby stacking and then quiting, etc.
Quoting zndkwin, reply 5 Probably off-topic, but, I'm interested in buying demigod, but, has the lobby/online play system problems been fixed by now? Connection issue are basically solved (very few still have issues, many are user issue, not game issues). So long as you have a broadband connection you should be good to go. It could potentially just be a problem with replays so just asking.Yes... I tried it... hence the screenshots.
Yea, I just tested and Spooky is right. All the other modes are fine, it is just fortress where the problem exists.

I'd be up for playing some games with you guys. Me, Majuhadiz, and c-hance are on from about 12 AM-2/3 AM Eastern time normally (I haven't asked them, but they would probably be up for some games). I also have a mic and TS if you want to play some games if your mates aren't on.

Only yeti's have the power to destroy oak's "totems" which then destroy all of oak's minions (sometimes called raised dead wards by the uneducated masses). Haha, well, any Minion from any general can - you just need to select them and target the Totem. It doesn't un-summon his minions, but it prevents him from raising more. If timed co
I want to add to the OP's question: How do you beat an ooze UB with a monk (any good general can send him one) without 2v1ing him or doing the same thing?
Quoting obscenitor, reply 24 A generaly hwo doesn't get monks at level 1 is an idiot, period. They offer a massive DPS and longevity improvement which outscales any other item. This seems to be the biggest problem. Last night I had a game where me and my friend had a moderately new Rook player, who we of course gave advice to. It was really nice, because he listened, bought priests at the right time and bought good equips, and supported us. He even thanked us for giving him advice politely. It is always nice to give/receive good feedback. I have met more "very nice" people than jerks overall. Win or lose it is nice to know you will learn something.
Quoting Saiton, reply 10 I've been in a 5v5 where everyone had access to crazy amount of gold. I was geared up right from the get go, it was a fun game with less running back and fourth to heal, this hasen,t happen since. I'm guessing it was a cheat. Ehm thats not a cheat but a game setting. You can allow players to be filthy rich right from the start which translates to roughly 10.
Yea, it would be nice if this fixed this problem sometime soon. Otherwise the win percentages are going to get messed up (which will mess people up for getting into games...). Sometimes you can tell in lobby when it didn't properly remove a player; it just leaves them on the connection info with "not connected to any player."
Awesome, thanks Frogboy!
Agreed. Great new feature!
Yes, thank you Stardock.
Pacov, Honestly I don't know why people don't. I haven't played in nearly a month, but I have a friend's list. So when I hopped on for a few games I just joined up with some people on my friend's list and got some good games (also I found that tagging along with the better players ensured that the games didn't have noobs in them). I think a lot of it is just that people need to (and don't) use the friend's list. You hop on, check your list, if someone's available then join up, otherwi
Eh, it could work I guess. But ultimately I think it would just hurt people whose teammates fed even more. The first person to kill 4 or 5 people gets Mageslayer, and then you have no ability to get it yourself? A bit of an addition to the already frustrating slippery slope that is Demigod's balance.
Exactly. This would mean if the other team got ash first you couldn't even counter them.
Necro alert. Both of the posts above me.
Stacking hp is not always the best solution, but for generals it is particularly nice. For instance, if you have monks, then getting BotF isn't +5 hp/s, it is +15hp/s. 800*10%=80/8 seconds --> 10hp/s. I think one of the biggest reasons that hp/s is not often worth it (Narmoths being an exception) is because getting +hp also gives you +hp/s if you are a general.

But yes, if you play Pantheon on the harder modes your allies will be very stupid. It's part of the challenge. Also, make s
Just check the pings. I am in the US and have played matches with people in RUS and AUS just fine because their connections were good. I have also had laggy games with people in the US/EU. Just check the pings (granted, this won't catch ping spikers, but then you have 3 minutes to leave).

If you use just bite and bat swarm build with minions, you can stack at health and dodge
