i had this problem too, it ocured because entrenchment and vanilla sose was not in the same directory as they should be just check your install paths.

nope sins is in c:/programme/stardock/totalgaming/sins of a solar empire and entrenchment is in c:/programme/stardock games/sins of a solar empire so it boils down how to tell impulse the right directory.

ok i redownloaded it and it was still missing, i then downloaded a fmod.dll from the web (i never a had such a file in my system) and now it´s says binkw32.dll is missing, well i downloadet it too and now it says: " _BinkShouldSkip@4 " was not found in the DLL "binkw32.dll" :'(

I think the faster spawn rate is not that wise though, since it gives the enemy more gold and expierience. The old war idol was changed to prevent this afaik.
