While playing the 2D beta today (as Unclean Beast, if relevant) I heard a new combat music I quite liked. I heard it only briefly though, and it never came came up again in that game or the next three. Are there pieces of background music in the game that show up only rarely among the "standard" ones? It would be nice to have some variety. As a side note, if possible, a "jukebox" for selecting the tunes you like best to play would be great. Default being the current "background/combat

Regulus's Deadeye ability at the end of the end of the sniping tree says that it has a chance of causing "0 seconds" of stun. Is this a bug, a description error, or is it just supposed to be an interrupt? (in which case, the description might need altering)
Angels still occasionally get stuck in Beta 2D. Nice model for them though, finally got a good look at one. [e digicons][/e]

Well, you have to remember that for the "efficient business" companies (hello EA!) bringing out games that people keep playing for years is actually counterproductive. What you're supposed to do is: buy a game, play it for about a month, get tired of it, chuck it in a corner and buy a new game. Playing a game for years on end (or at least spending part of your gaming time on it) means you're not buying a new game to fill that that "slot" in your gaming time. You ca

I'm not that afraid of a dos command line, (I was there back in the days of yore when it was the only way) but I was under the impression that the main problem with getting MoM to run was it's greed on the inner 64k of memory. I had a devil of a time getting it to work at the time and that was the reason why it didn't work on early windows versions. Things might have changed in the
Yeah, that won't be happening
Well, IIRC Brad said making a Demigod costs approximately $100.000. So if the OP would just be kind enough to donate $1,700,000, I'm sure matters could be arranged. [e digicons]:bebi:[/e]
Sounds like a good idea to me. Get the game system working first, then add the bells and whistles. Sign me up! Heck, I'd still be playing Master of Magic if I was computer savvy enough to get it running on XP. Also, the Warlords series ROCKS! (especially Warlords 3, not so crazy about 4)
I like most of those ideas, but in my opinion there's way too much randomness, especially in the patrols. I want to be able to set troops to patrol between any two points, maybe even along a specific path of my choosing;
Eh, the OP's suggestion is for this to apply to non player-owned forces, specifically independants not belonging to a Channeler. I particularly liked that the thing's eyes followed your camera location. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
If you earn lots of awards (i.e. "Least Deaths", "Most kills" etc.) the after match display will simply have them disappear off the right of the display area. Unfinished sentences are a [bit of a drag.][e digicons]^_^[/e]
The buffs of Oak and Queen of Thorns that gain additional bonusses (number of spirits active for Soul Power and number of kills for Compost) display only that they're active, not how much is actually gained. It would be nice if the mouseover for the displayed buff icon would show how much of a boost you get. (or at least the number of active kills out of the max cap for Compost, for instance) I don't think any other buff/debuff icons give any hard data either.
The female announcer's voice is much less audible than the male one at the same volume. The male voice is loud and clear, while the female one is very hard to hear (let alone understand), even when you set voice to 100 and everything else at 80 or lower. Edit: this also goes for the "dark side" male announcer. The loud one is the neutral "We have first blood!!!" guy.
The (female) announcer's voice still announces "angels have entered the battle", when they have done nothing of the sort. Perhaps the announcement is linked to the increase of war rank, rather than the actual addition of angel spawning?
I bolded the parts where I adjusted stuff to make it sound slightly better in my opinion. I don't think there are any weapons, are there? Also, this is pretty clearly a way to explain the fact that you can't actually see the stuff that you buy and can have 5 pairs of boots on at once. It might sound better if you said that they were magical artifacts that granted their benefits merely by being owned by the Demigod or something

The idea could do with some refining from it's current form, but it's very characterful and cool in concept.
Maybe... we could use more crap shoots.
Actually, since the game seems squarely aimed at Human Vs Human competitive gaming, "crap shoots" is what you DON'T want. "I won/lost because I/the other guy got lucky." does not make for good competition. Skill should be what matters, not luck. (fyi, I'm not a big fan of percentage chance effects on items either, but at least you CHOOSE to buy those)
I thought as much. But, as we all know, bugs are for reporting. [e digicons][/e]
I just set up a quick solo compstomp with a password (to keep solo, solo) and a newbie wandered into the game. Now, this was quite innocent (appropriate to a newbie) and he left after I explained this to him, (and just before I could say I'd be ok with a quick dual compstomp, just didn't want to play a human enemy right now) but this is obviously not what should happen begind a password. While I admit my password wasn't overly brilliant, (three random letters) I doubt he
Why should you lose out because the enemy attacked you, and let your teammates survive?
1. Because you died. (You got unlucky, ok, but you still "lost". Lose and you pay for it.) 2. The enemy put in effort to kill you in order to weaken your side. They succeeded, and now get to reap the reward. I suggest arranging for payback. It's not just a player losing time/cash/xp, it's also some player(s) successfully pull
You mean "not quite as bad as EA"? Yeah, I guess that works in the current market, sadly.

In my last game I purchased Regulus's Lvl 15 skill in the wings line (Vengance). It worked fine when I used it, but I noticed later, to my surprise, that I was Lvl 14. I might have bought the lvl 15 skill with an earlier skill point than that of lvl 14 (I don't remember exacty when I bought it, I was too busy fighting to think it through, hence the eary purchase) It did work, and exactly as advertised, even though I was not supposed to have it yet. Edit: I
I think the new voice is fine if you're playing for the Forces of Darkness, but the good team should have the old voice. The hissy evil voice sounds out of place when playing Oak, for instance.
