I am in the same boat! I wanted to fire up the game after several months of not playing it. Figured I'd update, and ended up giving up after several hours of hair pulling. Requires IE? For christs sake its 2008, not the dark ages of early 2000! Can't download 1.05, cant make this impulse thing install, can't update my game.
