Having supported Stardock from the get go on EWOM, and the subsequent experiment that followed, we have patiently waited for Fallen Enchantress. Rushing the Beta will not bring it to us any faster. I look at it like this. I bought EWOM on release day, and like many of you, never found it to be a "fun" game. So, let those of us who are not the first in the beta say, Santa shall bring it to us on Xmas day. Until then, make some Egg Nog, revel in the holiday spirit,

Look into a game called Imperium Galactica 2: Alliances. Its an old game, from 2000, but it might be right up your ally. Combines real time with the micro of a Masters of Orion.
GW, I agree with you. The evil/good (un)fallen dichotomy seems to have little to do with gameplay. Perhaps if player(s) gained/lost game bennies (of whatever sort) based on how much of the world's terrain they have transformed to their alignment - or something like this....
A "might makes right" style, I like it.

Any of you guys played any of the battlefront.com games? Such as combat mission, theatre of war, etc? They are all about tactics, and none about base building. Very interesting games. I personally love combat mission, for its unique gameplay style, and attention to detail.

The game Perimeter is all about your base, as your base allows you to win. Expansion of the base gives you the power to take direct control over your opponents base.

I will say this, I happen to be part of a great mod community for company of heroes, and we have done something different and interesting with the RTS genre. www.omgmod.org We have eliminated base building, and gone with a new system. Its about persistency and veterency. You use our browser launcher system to build your company, and our downloader to load battle files. It makes more sens

My whole take on this is, if and its a big if, if they are coming here, and allow for the opportunity to be seen, then its a choice they have made. Given the amount of digital media that is available to many people around the world, getting some great high def footage is inevitable. The thing is, for it to be truly believed by people, it has to be on a legitimate news network, or acknowledged by a government. Now, who in there right mind would allow for the truth to be shown
I believe UFOs are anti-submersibles piloted by a race of deep ocean sentient beings descended from Squid. Now that is an interesting theory But how fascinating if true/possible.
IMO, women like that aren't worth my attention. So, she must be good at something ;) In all seriousness, wait the topic got off that. Look everyone, aliens are from mars, they are green

I am curious though on this whole divine intervention concept, as well, why the universe has to have a beginning. Organic life has beginnings and endings, not inorganic things. But then again, matter cannot be created nor can it be destroyed, it just is. Everything in the universe is comprised of molecules that have formed to create more complex things, our planet, us, other life forms. Everything points to the universe having started from a single hot point, and an ex

@Istari Oh how I love the way you define God without doing so. That is very human of you. Remember, it was not long ago evidence showed us that humans can be trained to do and believe anything, as Pavlov's dog was trained to drool at the sound of a bell. Disagree with me? Look at the money Blizzard corp. is making with WoW. They used scientific studies in humans to design there quest systems for the sole purpose of creating addiction in humans to co

I will get a link as soon as I find one, or you can beat me to it. In a nutshell they determined that due to humanities reliance on religion, and religion that makes us out to be "in gods image," that were far to immature and volatile to have any contact with ext
