DC's happen, probably intentional for the most part, but if you give the benefit of the doubt to the player (maybe they're having internet or computer trouble, maybe they have a stint where they HAVE to leave etc.) the DC count should be reset at a set interval, every month or three. I don't think it's wise, for a developer/publishers, to discourage someone from playing their game by keeping a persistant record of this infraction. EDIT: I do agree with OP that there sho

I think the title screen has a very simplistic appeal. Once they added the subtle texture to the angels and made the sky move, I felt it was great. But being so simple, it seems easy to impliment a gradient of colors, from the impulse clock, going from dawn to mid-day, sundown to dusk, evening to midnight. It would be VERY cool.

... me nervous. If the reward for pulling off these achievements was nothing more than fluff: -fancy titles -unlockable graphics (golden rook, new TB helmet, armor dyes, capes, etc) - pets (ooh look, a mini-rook) - These are crappy ideas off the top of my head, just to make the point Basically, none of these things impacts the actual balance of the game. They just look cool, and this was the a

I apologize if this has been implimented or said before (so much has), I think it would be a good idea stat wise if in addition to overall rank there would be ranking for each player on each demigod. Ex. Overall rank 104/Regulus rank 57/The Rook rank 2/Unclean Beast rank 10732 etc. etc. etc. Even wins and losses overall and per demigod. It would make more #1 positions to try for if thats your thing.

Often a deciding factor for me purchasing games is how it will run on my computer. If I'm choosing between two games, often the one that I believe will run smoother on my computer will win out. Demo's are great ways to test performance on my computer, but with game size getting larger and larger, I just don't feel like downloading a 3gb demo to find out, it takes too long and I don't like being preoccupied with thinking about the download while im doing other things. I often just want a quick

I bought a sager (compal I90) through xoticpc.com over a year ago from the advice of the nice forum people at notebookreview.com. I highly reccomend asking in notebookreview.com they steered me to the right computer at the right price. And, so far (cross my fingers) the only problem ive run into with my laptop was needing to clear out the vent airway.
I personally believe that both games will be able to co-exist, and in a weird way, one game will help support the other by making this genre that much more known and played outside of the regular dota community. For example, some guys are command & conquer guys, some guys are starcraft guys, but both RTS games co-existed well with each other, and even though some people who were new to the RTS genre may not have liked command & con

I feel $50 ($40 from a retail store) is alot to pay for a game. I often refuse to pay more than $20 as I don't feel I get much value from games. But the few games to make me feel I spent my money wisely (Anything from the Battlefield series, Sim City 4, Left 4 Dead, SoaSE) will have to make room for Demigod =) This game is remarkable, addictive and entertaining. The art style of the levels are original like nothing i've seen before and beautiful, the addictive exciting gamepla
Actually the fact that it can be turned off without damage to gameplay means it's that much less RTS. More of an action game, really. Beautiful one though
I agree, it's not just the graphics but the creative design of the playing fields, the elaborate and varried designs of the combatants, the multiple ways you can adapt a character in each different game. Beautiful in concept and visuals. I just don't see much of

I tried logging into multiplayer with my internet switched off and recieved the message, "wrong username/password" or something like that. It was the right username and password and I know it was just my internet being off caused me to not connect. A change of error report to something like, "Could not connect to internet, check connection," would be more descriptive to someone having a real problem with logging in with their internet off.

Absolutly nothin'! In my opinion fog of war adds nothing to this game aside possibly from Regulus setting up a mine field. There might be some strategical aspect to The Rook erecting towers, but being on a timer, doesn't strike me as an agrument for fog of war. There arn't many RTS'y plans you need to keep hidden in Demigod and recently I feel the fog of war a nusance. It feels as if fog of war was implimented into an RTS system that didn't work and it's been kept for tradtion
Aside from changing teleportation ( give us a graphical effect to know a teleport is incoming , ala DOTA proz), I think flags are fine as-is.
Having a visual telling me someone was porting near my location would give me advice to stay or run. I'm all for it!

It doesn't make sense to me, demigod or not, that something can layer boot upon boot, chest piece upon chest piece. Instead, I suggest the apparel doesn't get layered but you purchase imbunes, casts, spells, whatever alters the property of the apperal without suggesting the character has two pairs of gloves on. It may seem inconsequential, and there are other areas to focus on testing, but I feel this is an important aspect to help immerse the pla
