Well thanks for all the additional info guys, I don't want flame wars started over this. To clear some things up I do plan on doing level editing once I get this thing up and I do want a quad-core, so I will wait and grab the Q9450. However with that said, would the upgrade to a DDR3 ram capable motherboard be worth it? Also while I may overclock said processor, it is not a for sure thing.

Well I do have a legit copy of XP Pro I can use while I wait for updates.
That may be the case, however it is the only OS that has DirectX 10. There lies my problem. I want DirectX 10 Compatibility. If XP had Dx10 i wouldnt even bother with Vista.

A mutual cease fire would be nice for those long games you just need to end. Artifact/Control points would be awesome too, adding even more depth to an already deep and wonderful game.
Love the idea of being able to rearrange my research in progress as well as the idea of a mobile factory for smaller ships. maybe something along the lines of a capital ship with limited firepower and some minor buffs/debuffs that is able to build frigate class ships. What I love even more is the idea of a race whos technology is compeletely organic. That would be wonderful for an expansion. Heck you could make two races for the expansion and have one organic and one AI.
I really like the idea of Culture acting as a supply line for capital ships and/or fleet(ship) efficiency. Devs take a look at this one. :CONGRAT:

While that would be a nice feature to see, research is pretty quick as it is. But I'm all for more options!
It should be noted that these guy's show is not suitable for younger audiences.

Awesome, but a question on the Advent, I'm playing them now. Do the effects of the broadcasting centers regardless of their position in your empire stack on top of one another? Or do you build just one?
