@JCD-Bionicman 1. First of all, you have to answer the question which kind of games you're looking to play. There is a rather large difference between games that are graphics-card reliant and those that are more reliant on processor etc. 2. If you're the type of gamer who is at all concerned about maximising FPS at a decent resolution in graphics-card centric games (ie. shooters etc.) you'll be hard-pr

^^^ Correct on both counts! ;)
@ OP Don't do every single mission you can. I found focusing on the story missions with a few (only a few) side quests works much better at keeping one interested. Also the Heroics and a few PVP matches put together enable "easy-level-mode". If you're finding the population lacking, think about re-rolling on a different server. I have done so multiple times. PVP warzones are boring to me as well (I only use them t
What? Anyways, as far as policing the ENTIRE world, yes, we need to not overextend ourselves, but as far as being in the middle east we are somewhat justified. As other countries rise the US falls. We need oil. As far as "killing civilians" goes, no, we didnt "kill civilians" they were simply casualities caused by both sides ignoramus (@Kamamura). 1. Make sure your graphics adapters (video cards) at the very least MEET the requirements listed. Sometimes if you don't have the required adapter the software may simply not even run (might not get an error message even). 2. Make sure the DX runtime is installing properly (usually you can force it to re-install from somewhere in the game's subdir of STEAM). 3. Make sure your .NET installs are complete and up-to-date (MS Update ke

Yeah "needing" on anything not for your primary is a huge no-no. Of course as you've already said it would be nice to have those things covered in a quick tutorial of some sort for the newbies. As far as guilds go? Look for one with 100+ members (ours has 145 I think at the moment). The reason I say this, is because those guilds usually have dedicated people to setting up the weekly hard-mode raids (where the good shit drops) and peo

It's all just one persons opinion (though i agree with him about the prequel trilogy)...he did some LOTR ones as well, and in that i think he was full of shit. George Lucas should never have scripted the prequels. Donfiled hits the nail on the head here. Look at the classic trilogy, story by Lucas but not the script, and those movies have some wicked dialouge, clearly one of the features of the classic tr

I just don't have the time to spend hours on end every day to feel like I'd get my money's worth out of it. The only MMO I've really felt comfortable playing is DDO and it's free to play. I have paid for the monthly VIP but only a couple times and only for 2 month both times. But the game is *free* to download and install and play. $80 on top

The single best practice to ensure a user keeps their system and the programs on their system protected from malware is to NEVER run/use the computer system with an account that has ADMIN credentials. Malware uses (with the execption of targeted and focused cyber-attacks) the SAME credentials the currently logged-on user has. If those are ADMIN credentials then yes you should be worried for your system and its programs. People need to
