This is awesome! Thanks! Two suggestions, though, if I may :) I noticed with elemental disciples you only made the vestments available to males. I made my own workaround to enable female outfits by making a copy of all of 'em, slapping +_female to internal name, adding all the female units to supported model and assigning the model to ArielleBody Brestplate. It looks nice :) For reference: ArielleBody.png<

Thank you for those! :)
I am unsure, but I think Kingdom affiliated Soveregns gain Life book by default, and Empire ones gain death. I've played with a custom made sovereign (Men race) and I have not noticed her spell selection be any different from Procipinee's. I may have been unobservant though, I've researched advanced spellbooks rather early into the game :)
Hiya! 2 observations here, after playing a handful of games. First, about sovereign's children: it appears that daughters ONLY inherit mother's traits/histories and sons ONLY inherit the father's. Problem: AI sovereign spouses as they set up currently have no special abilities/backgrounds, so their daughters also have none. Seen as daughters are what your faction gains from arranged marriage with other faction, you basica
Waiting for those too! I've tried to follow the steps described to create the magical staves, but I think I need an example of the code first. (translated: no, can't do :P ) Great ideas, Gnilbert!
Hi, James! I've a submission, though I am unsure if it will count towards heroes. I've done minor edits to the npc spouse units, adding 1 npc bonus ability and changing their quotes from 'if you need shelter, yada yada...' to something more fitting for their faction. (In my opinion!) I'm about to fire a new game with these changes, to see that hopefully they work as intended and children of those sovereigns can inherit those abilities, which will put an en
Some of those look amazing! I wonder why they were taken out, female armor models are far far superior appearance wise to what's available in game... thanks!
Hiya, playing a sandbox large map I've noticed that conquered settlements of the minor races are not leveling up past their initial level (1) despite population growth. I have 2 reaching 300 population soon, (enough housing and food resources are a given), but they are just sitting at level 1. Is it by design? Thanks in advance! :)
Hi, guys. Another one to add to the pile: Vista 32bit Operating system, Nvidia 8700 GT (laptop) card, Out of Memory error fairly early into the game. Debug file here: http://filebin.ca/dgqjyy/debug.err Hope it helps with tracking down the problems :)
Although I haven't been vocal during the beta, I want to say a sincere thank you for all you guys working on the game and supporting it. I never once had a bad experience with the games you develop or publish, and truly appreciate your commitment and conduct. It was a shame about the broken street date for Elemental, but the way you rolled with it just showed great integrity. And hey, some good things for the game came out of it, too!
Advent for me, too. First, for the story reasons. After watching the opening cinematic I really wanted to like the TEC, loosing battle, attacked on two fronts and all, but... I dunno. Just something in the narrator tone when they were talking about exiling their own people whom they didn't even try to understand from the desert planet that they just wanted in their territory made me go '..meh.' And like a few people here I also have a weakness for psi races :P Aesthetically,
I thought it was star radius, but after checking a test map with a 100, 150, 200, and 300 they all end up in small category, hm.
Hiyas, all :) Recently purchased Sins and absolutely loving it :) As requested some things I enjoyed that I don't think were mentioned often: - AI difficulty levels: I started learning the ropes on easy and then gradually began upping the difficulty. Still can't win against more than one hard AI :P, but the challenge is making the games really epic :) -Distinct differences between the races and the backstory and lore behind the reason they developed as such.
AF_Ronin, I've played some with Klingon ships, latest TA version, and, yes, AI neither arms, nor puts any defenses on the ships no matter how much into weapons/defense tree I research. Just thought I'd confirm :)
Hm, guess I'll be waiting to see what 2.0 has in the box. :) Thanks, Z :)
Hi all :) Got a question for you... Is it possible to create a map/scenario that has several objectives that need to be achieved before victory? For example, first objective is to have, say, Terrans to take planet X from Drengin, which will trigger a blockade of that planet by Drengin, so the objective will change to wipe out Drengin? Thanks in advance :)
Wish that it was earlier version, but, no, it's 1.96 :(
Apologies if this was brought up already, but does anyone else have certain races (even warmongling!) not building up military at all? Thalans, for example, only have a couple of 0 attack and defense defenders in orbit by mid game... occasionally same behavior is seen with Krynn. Drath and Korx also don't build a single military unit save a gazillion of troop transports they don't even send out :/. Occasionally Altarians do the same, though they did behave well a couple of games. Korath ju
Belated happy birthday :) I've had gal civ2 for quite some time, but just got around getting DA and TA and looking out for some modification improvements... but anyway, this looks incredible :) I have the HRGMod, and at times just pause whatever I'm doing just to zoom in and stare at the planets and nebulae... so, you definitely have a new fan :).
