When I originally bought OD in several years ago, it was over the Thanksgiving holiday. I had issues with the install and fired off an email to SD support. There were more than 750 tornadoes repoted in April. The number of tornadoes (on average) almost doubles from April to May (May is the middle of tornado season). I live in N.E. Mississippi, and we had several tornadoes touch within a few miles of our house. The tornado sirens went off three or four times- once it sounded for almost an hour. Look, M$ made mistakes with Vista. Lots of them. It was to resource-heavy. It was bloated. I had a desktop I built (ASUS mobo, 4gb ram, nVidia 9600 SLi, blahblahblah, you get the point) and it took Vista Ultimate about a year to boot up completely. Rediculous. I ran the Win7 Ultimate RC for about 3 months on a laptop and it took about 45 seconds to boot completely. That was ALL processes..... XP and Win7 are bot great. It just depends on what you want.
