to be fair, the way stardock sites are structured/managed these posts are shown not only on the demigod/soase/elemental pages but also on the pages desktop apps that they make. i can name them... really (Object dock/fences/deskscapes!) it's really two seperate communities and it is a bit mean to say they have to share the same space... yes i enjoy the games, but that's because i'm a gamer. i also enjoy the fact that different groups mingle on these pages as they lead to intere

funnily enough i was just thinking about my personal fps fix for the first time in months moments before open the forum. Unreal Tournament 3 loads of game options, simple mechanincs and fun weapons and vehicles. it's not realistic at all (hence unreal) but it's loads of fun.

for those questioning the results and saying this is not the speed you get when downloading; you have to remember that speeds are also based on the upload of the server. speedtest servers typically have very high uploads so that they can push your speeds as much as possible.

disabling impulse now adverts in Everything Else Demigod Forums

i've noticed that SD has started advertising using impulse now's systray icon and ballons. i'm not sure if it's because i've just upgraded from XP (where i had ballons disabled) to WIN 7 (where i actually don't mind the ones i get) or a new tack in the marketing dept, but i'm not a huge fan of my computer trying to sell me things. any way to turn this off? or do i just need to remove impulse now completely?

i think most people are waiting for 1.2 and the new DG's, also although games are admitedly low i've never had to wait more then 5 mins to get a game (not included time waiting in game for more players to join, still under 10) that's as an EU player at least.

well. peeps are definitley playing... if there was an issue earlier and you tried loginging during that and are still in the same game session then maybe that's your issues. though that's a whole lot of conjecture. try a reboot.
