They trade commodities, how friggin complicated is that? They ferry products to new markets, which then get sold and boost the economy.
Not "friggin complicated" just details that need to be included in a game like this. IMO it was released unfinished and not having more detail the Beta testers did nothing to tell the company about it to fix it. IMO this is nothing more then Space Total War another RTS without the 4X game play. If they finish the game now that it’s o
Well in patch 1.3 I hope they add something to the info you get when holding over different things like trade ships, and refineries etc. Exp: A trade ship would say how much it is hauling and what you were getting from it each time it delivered.
Just like in the US today I can buy an american made smith and wessen, an israeli desert eagle, a russian AK47 (well I could if machine guns were legal here )
They are legal here all you have to do is get a permit for them. They cost around $400 then you have to buy them that are around $7G's and up.
Romulans/Klingons combined ...... plz no...I was thinking the same thing. It is a scary thought. The Klingons should be with the Federation.
Heck no Klingons should be killed just like other alien scum. Remember your roots Cpt. Kirk killed tehm not talked to them.
Costs of Ships Frigates 400-1640 Cruisers 1200-1850 Capships 8500 You won’t be building a large fleet unless you have the time to or you conquer a lot of planets the same can be said for the AI. I have over 7 hours in so far and everything is running fine. I have had 2 battles with around 100 per side but that is the 2 biggest boys on the block. I play a 39 Star 386 planet 36 player huge map I made. So far my PC is running like a charm and everything is set to
Well I created my first mod I call it the No Limits Mod. The Features for the No Limits Mod are: 1. All planet types have had there Tactical and Civilian Logistics Slots increased by 2 times the original amount. 2. Ships do not use supply anymore. You can build as many as you would like. However for capships you still need to train crews. 3. Ships do not require Crystals to build anymore. 4. All ships prices are 2x higher plus 10x the amount of Crystals
I like mine the best
An option to turn off ship limits for SP games. This should also give the AI no ship limits as well for SP games.
OK I have it now. Thanks for the info now to the game I have been waiting a long time to play.
Error reading from file E:\data\offline\e8a1b781\c430389c\activate.ing. verify that the file exists and that you can access it. I get this error and I have tried 2 different DVD drives. Can I register my key and get the download so I can play the game? If so how do I register the key and get the download?
Thx for the replys will give your advise a go and see how it works out Moosetek13. kryo thx for your reply and no I do not have a 64x2 CPU I have Athlon XP 3000+ a little older but still works fine. So it might just be as Moosetek13 said so I'll see wht happens. Most of the time I think it is my turn but will check to make sure I am not trying to move when it is not my turn.
Every once in awhile my screen will move up and to the left and I can’t stop it. Well I scroll down to where I was and let go it just starts moving up and to the left again. Is there a way to stop this it is very annoying.
Well I sale my used games on Amazon.com and feel that if you buy it you should have the rights to it even if it is used. Now I don't know if GalCiv or GAlCiv2 is on a console but if it is you can buy sale trade those games, why not PC games. This has never made any sense to me. In addition, I debated with EA about piracy, and there is no way of telling if there has been any piracy with fact. Piracy is considered to be wide spread so that copy protection can be added with about a $10 co
1600x1200 is planed but I can use 1440x900 also.
Here are my specs. Will it run Sins maxed out? AMD Athlon 3000+ 2.17ghz CPU 2gig ram AII x1600Pro 256mb AGP card XP Home SP2 If others have a qustion about there PC feel free to post it on my thread.
I am looking forward to Sins coming out. I am one who liked MoO3 and I am looking forward to a game up-to-date without so much micromanagement. Yet I look for a good 4X space game and hope this will be the one.
What you see is what you believe. The People on the Planet/Asteroid dont see the Ships in the Orbit, but the see the Broadcast on theier TVs. Nevertheless, you have to have a fleet thee first before it can be televised. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 a
I do not know if this is in game yet but was thinking it would be very cool to have them when loyalty dropped below a certain level. It could be a percentage chance that the planet would revolt so not every one would just revolt every time it got to a certain level of lets say disloyalty. IT could be based on race relations etc. Now the fun part will be when they do revolt they are spawned with ships and control the rebelling planet/system/asteroid so as to use there goods to build more
How about increasing your loyalty by the amount/quality of ships in that area. Example: 2 Frigates would give you 3% more loyalty where as a Battleship would increase it to 15% I have not played the game so would not know if this would be unbalanced or not. It also could be the size/quality of a group/fleet of ships in the area. The more you have the higher the loyalty. Why would that increase loyalty? Because if you on a planet or mine you know that a group of navy ships are
How does Sins and MoO3 stack up? I know Sins is RT not Turn base but will it have a huge galaxy or galaxies with hundreds of planets/systems to fight over. Game play do you build ships with acquired technologies make your planets better with tech's etc. I have read about it on the home page but it is not the depth I am looking for. I would like a better description of Sins if you could. Will Sins have as much content in it as MoO3?
Cool! This makes it easy for the gamer/fan.
It really does not matter what Copy protection you use some hackers will hack it and there is no stopping them. So what is the copy protection for?
That is cool I have played Gal Civ for a long time still on my puter. I'll make it to Gal Civ 2 one of these days I bought the new Gold pack it looks so nice I don't want to open it yet. Well it’s a Christmas gift to myself so I'm waiting until then to play LOL! Guys thanks for the replies.
I don’t have a problem with Copy Protection just don’t like some versions. Like now I have Space Rangers 2, it has StarForce I have to sit and wait 4 min for the CD check then I have to install the key every time I want to play the game that is over board and is a pain in the butt. Therefore, this publisher is like Paradox then it has copy protection on the disc. I can live with that. I just hate being treated like a criminal when I am the one buying the game in the first place
