I too am curious about "repulsion". Any information to be had on this one? :)
Someone tell me -- just what is "repulsion" and what will we see as a result of the changes to how minions are affected by it? :)
We should be wary of the word "casual." I think it's totally subjective.
Sounds great!
Disabling chat might be a nice feature.
People have been saying the game is dying since I started, a few months ago. Don't see that happening at all. Sorry naysayers -- just don't see the evidence of it. As for experienced players being rude to new players, without a doubt that is taking place. For that reason, I go out of my way to be nice to new players and encourage them whenever I can. I'm constantly astounded by the lack of simple human decency amongst online game players.&nb
"Numbers do not lie?" What numbers?? Perhaps this post was actually just a social experiment...
Still lots of custom games, yes.
While your problem might merit some research / discussion, if I were a forum mod I'd summarily delete any post with "bs" in the title...
Excellent ideas, Frogboy.
On a somewhat related note.... I had wondered how much, if any, extra mileage we could get out of existing models. For instance, could we simply scale up some of the minion models and *poof* now you have a potential model for a minotaur / wizard / archer DG?
*wish I had two friends to play in a team with* :p Good luck Stardock! Where's the betting pool?
Thanks Frogboy and Pacov for your work on these questions and answers!
I've never had much trouble handling UB, and I typically play with a low HP TB. Now, I haven't faced TB that often with lvl 20 vs. lvl 20 and both sides with artifacts. I've heard it can be tough at that level. But, most game don't reach such a state.
I'd love to participate, but I always PUG.... nobody to form a team with :`( Anyway, sounds like a great idea!
How to get what you want in life: use courtesy. How *not* to get what you want in life: act like a spoiled brat. I see so many "fix the damn" or "this is bullsh1t" or "this sucks" posts, that I find myself quite angry about it. Not just because such posts are rude and childish, but mainly because the children writing them make the whole community look bad, and thus actually decrease the chances that needed improvements to Demigod will take place on our behalf. I'm sorry
I saw this happen last night. 3v3 game I game lost, and would have ended a nice winning streak for me, but host (my team) quit in the middle of the game and it was not recorded. Went something like this: 1) A non-host player on my team rage quit. Don't know if it was an 'end game' or a disconnect. 2) Host rage quit. Don't know if it was 'end game' or disconnect. 3) Being the last human left on my team, I conceded.
On the subject of double demigods in games, I just don't get it. The few times I have played against doubles, the doubling team has actually been at a *disadvantage*. I think the fear is irrational over this one. People think to themselves, "double reg that would be terrible!" and conclude it must be stopped at all costs. But in practice, unbalancing your team with doubles seems to me to do you more harm than good. I find this particularly annoying becuas
Say please...
He said please. And he's right.
Really great news :)
You never stated the problem. Does it crash? Can't connect to a game? Panic at the sight of Unclean Beast? Frogs falling from the sky? Uncontrollable boils??
Thread shenanigans aside, having random teams as an option would be excellent.
