A problem I am having is in trying to install the update I'm getting an activation error message. I think it is probably due to the fact that initally I had so many problems I had to install & uninstall a whole bunch of times. Must have triggered something in my account.

Could someone please tell me how to create a link? I notice that some users place links in the description box directing the viewer to the site where the applications listed can be found. When uploading a SS I would like to provide links to the applications used in my desktop design but I don't know how to do that. I want to include it in the description of the shot I'm uploading, as opposed to in the comment section after the shot's been posted. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

I have to say that the support I receive from this forum and Stardock is far beyond any support I have received from any other vendors or forums. I received an answer from Stardock about an hour ago. Sent me 2 links...one to remove some files from SDC and one to reinstall SDC. The two updates were then downloaded without any problems and WB6 seems to working OK at this point.

Funny you guys are discussing this as I just started a ticket with Stardock Help & support. I cannot update WB6 or Skin Studio from SDC. It stops at 50% with an Invalid download message something about error 29. I run Vista Home Premium.

I got it working! My problem was that I was uninstalling before I did the update from Stardock Central. All is working well now. Thanks so much!!

Yea, I do have Stardock Central. I go to Misc & I see Cursor FX Plus...I do install...progrsm downloads...then I get a message that download failed. I've gone thru that process 3 or 4 times but to no avail. So that's why I uninstall and go through the Stardock Purchase link I received.

I know from the forum at WC the problem I'm inquiring about is no news to you but I figured I'd better start a ticket as I"m lost as to what to do & I have installed & uninstalled a Million times. My problems is when I change a cursor theme I can change settings but they do not take effect until I restart Windows. Also I am having trouble with my cursor going behind menus & task bar. My private Messaging feature does not seem to be working. It has been working up to today. I do have the feature selected in my acct. When I put my cursor over someones name and click on the name I no longer get the option for private message. Wonder if anyone has any idea what may be wrong or what I may be doing wrong.

Do you mean that no image or graphic in the wallpaper should be left in such a condition that another person could come along and crop it out for example and use it as their own work. So if that is the case, than someone doing a ss should design it such that an app ie. clear weather widget, is placed over graphic to obscure it?

I must admit I find all this very confusing. Based on what I read, it would seem to me that some of the screenshot gallery could be in copyright infringement. I had a SS rejected last week for not meeting WC guidelines as to the Wallpaper I used and I gave a credit. Yet, I see many shots that do not give artist credits and many that simply say I found this wallpaper on the internet...don't remember where! How can that be acceptable based on what is written above. I must be missing something as I
