[quote who="neone6" reply="2" id="3501190"] This issue has been beaten to death already. Stardock is doing all they can to keep the software updated as good as possible, however it is next to impossible to make Windowblinds be optimized to every browser update that comes along. -Exclude the browser in Windowblinds settings, change browser or both. I had the same symptoms after installing Windows Update KB2955164. I was going nuts trying to figure out the problem. I thought I had a currupt user account and deleted it (there are multiple users (family) on this computer) then set up my account all over again. The update from Microsoft installed again and had the same problem. Glad I stumbled upon this thread or wouldn't have even thought about Windowblinds being the culprit. Thanks Neil!

Just saw this thread, thanks to the newest post.... I ended up buying a Nokia Lumia 928 a few months ago and am loving it. Built in wireless charging, excellent camera, works well with Microsoft Exchange for my work email, contacts, schedule, etc. I would highly recommend a Windows 8 phone to anybody looking to upgrade.

Nope - the workaround listed in the other thread did not work. I really hope this can be fixed. It's difficult to read my start menu, or at least the right hand panel. Anybody else having this problem with either a light background or when opening the start menu over something light, like a light background in a browser or even just windows explorer file manager?

Problem had not re-presented this morning. This evening, however, is another story.... In this screenshot, notice a problem when using a lighter background (white is even worse).... Neil, Thanks for the response. I was not able to reproduce the problem today. All seems "normal". Not sure what is different. I tried with lighter background, brighter background, and same background. It just works right this evening. I will let you know if I see it again by re-posting in this thread.

Look at my first picture. This is one that shows problems reading the right hand panel of the start menu. The son and I saw it as a double-feature at the drive-in last night. The drive-in just bought some digital projectors and you can really tell the difference! MOS was the second feature shown. We both liked it a lot. It was better, IMHO, then previous Superman movies. The first feature was World War Z. It was a very good zombie movie.

[quote who="Fuzzy Logic" reply="3" id="3373927"] From what I see of 2013 it looks a lot more unusable than 2010. 2010 is bad enough, everything you do is a clickfest. Gone are the days when you could click a button for a new document or to print, it's all click, click, click, and for printing, "yes, I do want to enable effin' printing" Since we updated to 2010 at work some jobs take me twice as long Productivity is critical for someone who works

I didn't know if I would like Lost or not - heard a lot of hype when it started years ago. I checked it out on Netflix streaming and really am enjoying it. We're on season 6 now and have only 8 episodes to go. I like Fringe a lot and am happy that they just received the go ahead for 1 more season. I also enjoyed The Borgias and am looking forward to that second season.
