Reply to RELEASE: Texture Pack I - Stars and Planets in Sins Modding Sins Forums

I really wish you would add green stars. The reason why is because as far as I know there is green stars, we just can't see them to the ability of our eyes so they appear white. By this time in the future I think that Humanity and the other races would have built some kind of enhancement for our eyes to let us see a lot more than we could naturally. Also maybe you could enhance the planets and stars further? Like adding a white dwarf star and some more textures for gas giants that look like

I agree with "theretroboy" the only time you should do this is at the middle or late beginning of the game. I find that even though I use the upgrade with the advent I still use it later. I also use the upgrade on more important planets first like major resource ones in case you get a crystal upgrade or metal or something.

Well Danman your mods are are awesome but I have a few things to ask of you. 1. The added stars are awsome but I don't particularly like them lol. Would you post at the top of the page a way to get rid of them completely? I would like the stars more if they acted like the normal official stars but just gave us more variety as seeing the same 4 stars in the game gets boring and colonizing stars in unrealistic and has little to offer even if we were to do it in the future anyway. First of all I would love to see moons as well. Heres a list of additions I would like to see in a future patch or expansion. Not in order of how bad I want the things in the game. -1. Campaign Mode -2. New Race = The race that was chasing the Vasari. It would blend great with the story and add variety to the game. -3. More frigates, cruisers and capital ships to choose from. Maybe even the addition of a new class like; corvettes, battleships, gunboats. Those are just some

Well your computer seems really good based on the games you have so I would recommend "Age of Empires III" and the expansions that come with it called "The Warchiefs" and "The Asian Dynasties" along with the expansion for C&C3. I would also recommend "Supreme Commander" and it's expansion "Forged Alliance". These are all great games but cost money so you might want to get the game itself for all of them and not get the expansions but the expansions are great, trust me. The graphics are amazin

Well I agree it is a slow game and I wish that Stardok and Ironclad would make a new speed to change the rates so they go higher than the "fast setting" as I use that and I spend about 3-6 hours finishing a medium sized map game. The game though is probably the best game I've ever played for the RTS genre. You might like Age of Empires III better since it's a faster paced game.
