I had a similar problem happen when I moved from Minnesota to Texas a couple years ago. I did post a thread at: Tech Support Guy . If you're running XP, here's what fixed my system: Restore CD/DVD Drives It's worth a shot. At the time I was dual-booting (98SE/XP), and my CD Drive would show on 98SE, but not on XP. Let me know if this helps.

I just don't click on any ads at all. Then I don't have to worry or wonder what virus's/trojan's/malware or crap might get on my computer. And FF w/the extensions or add-ons that were mentioned in previous posts is really what you want to be using anyway. Beats the heck out of IE or any other browser.

Why don't you delete accounts? I opted into this site and now I want to optout. And if you're going to lock conure58 so I can't post messages, why would I want an account here anyways? The ONLY reason conure58 was locked was because I asked to be removed in the first place. Why do you treat people like that?

Conure58... I'm not sure if you're aware, but I *am* a moderator on the site. Since you or Frogboy made it so I can't post or email anyone, I had to create another account. Now you can remove both conure58 and bobdown from your system. Why didn't do what I requested in the first place? Do you like other people to see that requests can't be honored?
