I find that the hand curser starts out as the default Windows curser for a few seconds and then displays the correct curser for the theme that is loaded. This happens for all curser theme sets. It bothered me enough to reload CurserXP. (:(

BX...nice illusion :CONGRAT:
If you have Ultimate, why don't you buy Neil's new "Winter Snow" dream. The DesktopX snow runs my cpu up to 50% on both cores. The new dream barely touches it since it's a dynamic dream and does most of the processing in the video card. You can also load any photo you want. This dream is well worth the money. :D
I don't care. Nobody visits my personal page anyway...
Get it fixed and I'll stop in and visit. ;)
The fact that she is representing South Carolina, makes me hang my head in shame. It appears our "State Educational Lottery' funds are not being spent wisely. :NOTSURE:
Quote tubsterDecember 7, 2007 15:19:04Reply #25 I learned something new today. If you run UAC with Sp1, Desktop X will run. If you have tweak vista installed you can changed the security level to remove all prompts for elevation from UAC. All seems well so far. I always kept UAC off because of the prompts.
Quoted from the other SP1 thread
I'm just sorry I drug you all thru this fer so long.Between health issues and this ornery skin and WB,I took WAY longer than I ever planned.
Sorry to hear that you have health problems. Judging by the "Find a penny, pick it up...the rest of the the day you'll need Bengay." quip on your page, I would guess it's your back. I live with a fractured L4. I feel for you, pain sucks. (:(
Maybe I'm blind but I was unable to find where they say they will give you the software for participating. Neither Windows or Office. I did find where they give you a 60 day trial of Office and give you the opportunity to buy it. :NOTSURE: Did anyone see it by chance? I wouldn't do it anyway though, too invasive.
When sponsors aren't enough to support the site, then what? I sort of feel like we are being asked to get aboard a sinking ship.
I find it hard to believe that Stardock would shut the site down even if it loses money. It would hurt Stardock's sales too greatly for them to shut it down. If this site didn't exist I never would have bought Object Desktop, and if it shuts down, I doubt I would buy it again. There are not enough sites to take up the slack, as Zubaz think
But if that's the sole reason that some folks subscribe, just to not see ads, and they would leave because of 1 static add on the page...that seems kinda sad to me.
I doubt they would leave but they may not re-subscribe. Since I'm Stardock customer, and I already had the only blind in the giveaways that is Vista and WB6 ready, ad free was the main benefit for me to subscribe. Well, that and the fact that this was a charity drive that would help the kids, I figured w
Same card, different names. EVGA has a lifetime warranty.
Brand name is all but I think EVGA has a lifetime warranty.
Woolworths is still in business? I thought they died years ago.
What's left of Woolworth's is now Footlocker. Before they closed the Woolworth's stores, they bought Kinney Shoes and then created the Foot Locker brand stores. The only stores that survived in the end was Foot Locker.
Don't think Woolies here is related to either the UK or US stores, tho
They are in a small way, in its prime Woolworth's sold franchises overseas. In the end, the franchises
Most come with a digital to analog adapter so you should be set.
What is the least expensive vid card which will do Vista well? I have a PCI E-16 slot.
If you haven't ordered it yet, Dell has an upgrade to the card Starkers is refering to for $100.00. I just bought the wife a new system for Christmas with that card in it.
If SP1 comes out soon I might buy a Vista upgrade.
Getting a transfusion to remove the penguin blood out of your veins?
It was obvious this was coming. Their pricing was way out of line on most of their hardware. The main thing they were good for was, if you needed something right then, you could usually find it there. Overpriced but in stock.
First, click on the yellow bar to open it in it's own window, then you have to click on the picture to bring it to the correct size. The screen is in 1680x1050 and is probably larger then your resolution hince the garbled text. The colors are of my choice and is not the default colors of the blind.
Astyanax Here's a screen of the items you mentioned. I do not run a clock in the task bar so it's not in the screen.
Astyanax This skin looks sweet on Vista as you can see in my earlier post. I see no limitations in it at all. If you want your Vista to look stock, then what are you doing at Wincustomize? Why don't you go to Maxstyles, download the demo and see if you like it? Then, if you don't like the looks of it you can delete it and at least say you gave it an honest try. Personally, I will buy it the day it is released. I do think that the XP in the name tends to concern Vista owners
sleepydawg, What media player and skin are you using? Also, judging by your weather gadget, nice to see a fellow South Carolinian around. I've got a bunch of family in your neck of the woods, Lancaster and Great Falls.
The stupid UAC!!!
Disable it if you don't like it. ;)
For me, being a current Stardock customer also, the only incentive to subscribe is to browse ad free. Before you say that I got 4 free blinds also, well the only Vista and WB6 blind was RIP2007 and I already had it. I subscribed due to the advert free perk and it seemed like the right time to do it since some of the money was going to the kids during this latest subscription drive. Now it seems they may take away the main reason I subscribed. Oh well, I also won a renewal so now I am subscribed
