Perhaps, a better way of doing it in the future would be to list it with the same thumbnail and the same name, and say it is an update. People will see it because it will be at the top of the new dreams list.

I have the same problem, and yes, i do noticed decreased battery life. This is not un expected because when not running, my cpu sits at about 5% but when earth goes up, it sits at about 25% I have compared, and the battery life goes down by half an hour to 45 minutes.
well with other dreams, the dreams automatically paused when i went on battery power, so obviously it was an intended function. This has only happened with the earscape one, so I assume it is a bug with the dynamic side of things. also, yes, it does eat up power, any time your computer is processing grafics, it eats up more battery than just text. That is one of the reasons why text based linix gets so much more battery life. so a moveing picture would only ampliy this.
So, i have a laptop, and for me battery life is very important. Well, it just so happens, that apparently, desktop earth does not stop itself when you are on battery power. Maby this is a bug with the "application" side of it, it is a dynamic dream after all. maby i am the only one who has this bug, if so, please say something. For now, when i go on battery, it keeps spinning, and sucking the life out of my battery. I know you can easily pause it yourself, but i am g
For Frogboy: It is a fact that the first apollo dream appeared on your site long before desktop earth did. I know this because i check your site nearly ever 2 hours. You will even notice that one of the comments for his first apollo was "gee it would be nice to have something like this that just focused on the earth" it is clear that people saw this before they saw your desktop earth. So dont try to imply that he is trying to copy your guys idea. If any thing, you might be the one w
Will WindowFX work with the Object dock. I know that it will do it on the task bar, but I am thinking of replacing the start button and the task bar with the Object dock. Will WindowFX do what it does on the task bar with the Object dock?
In windows vista there is the funcion of when you hold your mouse over a minimized program in the task bar, it gives you a preview of that window. I was wondering if there was a way to include this funcionality in the object dock when you minimize programs to it. I know that it already uses a small snap shot of the window as the icon for it, but i want to make it use the bigger pop up image that windows vista uses, or something similar to it.
