I'm old enough and have been married long enough to know there is no such thing as happily ever after. Marriage has problems. And if you love your spouse you work hard to get through those problems, right? But what happens when you just don't feel it anymore? What happens when you are no longer in love with your spouse? I still love him as a person,

I enjoyed The Departed myself. I can't weigh in on whether it deserved an Oscar or not because I haven't seen all of the nominated movies. I am not sure I even know which ones were nominated. Another great movie is Blood Diamond. Was that one nominated? Anyway, both were good movies.

I am the last girl child born to the ruler of the spear and the defender of mankind Who lived among the mustangs and the cowboys until she was two. I am the child who played lab technician and bill collector and caught fire flies in jars that still smelled like pickles. I am the girl with freckles and dog ears who loved cinnamon toast and Lawrence Welk

Am I the only one that will admit having one and liking it? Okay, well that isn't entirely true. I got one for Christmas and lost it within the first few days. I think it is somewhere around the house but I have no clue where. And I did feel like a total dork the first time I wore it, but thankfully I have long hair to cover it so no one could see it. Although that made it even more weird the firs

He tells me that I am strong. So why do I feel so weak? Why do I want to beg him to change his mind? He doesn't understand that HE gave me strength. I was able to get through anything knowing he was the prize at the bottom of the box. If I were half as strong as he thinks I am My heart wouldn't be breaking. Instead I

Wow, what a kick in the heart. Home run! Thanks, Moskowitz Thanks Moskowitz! If we didn't get kicked in the heart occasionally how would we know we were still alive? I'm only 200 miles away from my wife, who just lost her mother and is getting the house ready for transfer of ownership. I felt

It is wonderful how you write what a lot of us think. Only you write it better than I think it. It is always nice to know you are not alone. My thoughts exactly. What a way you had here of putting my own thoughts into words.

Lots of theories ran through my head, and as I sat here and typed them all out I realized that being a controversial celebrity doesn't make her any less of a person and I felt bad talking ill of the dead. So I will keep those to myself. I do feel bad for the baby, though. She has a life full of unanswered questions ahead of her.

Great topic! My way of thinking is this: Sure I screwed up my life in so many ways, but just think about how many ways I didn't screw it up. Of course I am not done yet. LOL! Isn't there some quote that says, I may not be where I intended to be, but I am where I am meant to be. All the bad decisions let me to where I am and who I am today, and she isn't half bad.

I'm lying in your arms my back nestled snuggly against your chest. The warmth from your body makes me feel sleepy and content. My fingers are laced through yours as we talk of all and nothing. Emotions swimming through my blood making my heart beat faster. I am loved. I am cherished. I am wanted. I am needed. I am yo

Thanks Moskowitz! Means even more since you don't usually like poetry. I actually didn't set out to write a poem. Just wanted to get the feelings out.

I remember when my mom used to tell me the same thing and I would laugh inside and think, "yeah right." Now I find myself wondering who in the world is that woman in the mirror. She looks like me but she's graying at the temples and has one tiny crease to the right of her smile. It can't be me! I'm only 18!
