i swear that the first time i went through the tutorials it said that you could, and how you could build more construction ships after the automatic ones. but, now i can't figure out or remember how, and i can't find the part i thought i found it in the tutorials. am i right in thinking you can build more construction ships or not? if so, how? thanks garrett

to me, the ships do seem very very small. you have to zoom almost all the way in to see them with much detail. then, by that time you only see the one ship and not the whole battle. garrett
it does say their special abilities in the manual. however, it doesn't explain them, but does name them. in the ships part, it says "special abilities" and names them or says "none." garrett
im not surprised, i had to go to 7 stores before i finally found one today. i didn't think id get lucky till the weekend garrett
Awsome read , could do with some videos to go with it
or at least some battle screenshots. as i can't seem to get the videos most post on here to play with windows media player. id love to see some of those videos, most have record on the end of the file name, if anyone knows a compatible viewer garrett<
Too bad the smaller vessels don't acquire experience.
im pretty sure the idea was that, you build a ton of ships in a game and it wouldn't be worth it for the ai to keep track of the experience of every single little ship. i might be wrong but that's what i gather. garrett
not very "Hands On" but good. just touched the surface of the game. garrett
are you serious? that kinda sucks. hopefully they can at least add in a little for flavor. garrett
this game looks great and everything but what about "Battle Chatter?" what's the battle chatter like if at all in this game? is there much variety in what the crews say or how they communicate? is the chatter very dynamic or do they basically just say stuff like "yes, sir" no, sir or is it more involved, useful and telling. do you hear dynamic "maydays" when zoomed into a ship that's getting beat bad or maybe some sort of cheers when a battle get turned? bas
i just read the articles about this game in the recent pc gamer and games for windows mags and didn't find out anything new really. i didn't see a word about the diplomacy/politics side either so im posting the question here. we or at least i don't really know anything of the options, effects or anything else about the diplomacy/politics model that we've heard will be a part of the game. will it just be complimentary to the battles or will it be pretty comprehensive
you want organic ships look into this upcoming game Genesis Rising: Universal Crusade by dreamcatcher games i think it's due out soon garrett
and you can use credits from trading also garrett
this game looks and sounds really sweet. like an epic space opera but i have a few questions. 1. what's the word on dogfighting? will fighter class ships engage with each other in dogfight style combat or just be swarms against and around cap ships? and how will it work? 2. what about reinforcements? will battles be long enough to where players can send in another fleet from an adjacent system if the battle looks desperate but where the current fleet can hold on till rein
