Ah, ok cool! Keep up the great work! You guys have been swamped this morning! I have to finish my school work before I can start playing, and it's driving me crazy LOL!

If I remember correctly, there was supposed to be a bonus day 1 download that had extra maps and tools released today, however I don't see the option to download it from Stardock Central. Did the maps and such get downloaded when I downloaded Sins?
Silly me, I just checked the FAQ part of my Email and found this: Q: If I order a CD, how do I get my serial number? A: For most of our CD orders, you will be provided with your serial number information as soon as your order is processed. You will also be provided with download information so you can get started right away before your CD arrives. That clears things up! :)
Do I need my serial number to activate it?
I'm SOOOO excited for Sins to come out this Monday! I bought the digital download plus the collectors box and was wondering, do I have to wait for my box to arrive before I can download the game, or do I get a serial number or something by E-mail?
Yeah, I'm playing DA. Sorry about that! I've had this awesome game for a while now, but I never quite figured out how that worked! LOL! Thanks! :CONGRAT:
Ah ok! So the more agents I send to a particular race, the higher my espionage level on them will be. Does it matter how much I'm paying for espionage, or is that purely to get agents faster?
Hi everyone! I was wondering, is there a way to choose which race you want to spy on the most? For instance, once I start paying for espionage, I'll occasionaly get messages saying I've reached a new espionage level against a race, however it's often not a race I particularly need information on. Is there a way to pick which race I want my agents to focus on?
Awesome! Thanks for the help! :CONGRAT:
I can't wait for this game to come out! I just pre-ordered from here so I could get the collectors edition, but I have one small question: When I download the game, is it exactly the same as the version on the CD, or should I uninstall the downloaded version and reinstall it with the CD once I get it?
The rest of the world is still waiting on an explanation for the platypus. ;) Sins will be shipped to Australia as soon as we recieve one.
Lol! I thought it must have been a mistake! Thanks everyone!
I was just checking Gamespot for some new Sins pictures, and came across some that were posted on the 10th. To my surprise, the last picture was of some ogres shooting flame arrows at other ogres. :SURPRISED: (Check the link below) Is this a real Sins of a Solar Empire picture, or did they just make a mistake.
Cool, thanks everyone!
Hi there! I was at Gamestop.com the other day and noticed that you can now pre-order Sins. I'm really excited about this game and can't wait for it to come out, but was wondering if there are still plans for a collectors edition. If so, will I be able to pre-order that as well or will that come out a little after the game has been released?
Hi there intergalactic leaders! I am having a weird problem that I have never had before. When I select a group of ships and right-click to tell them to move somewhere, the little blue line from them to the spot where I want them to go appears, but they don't move. The next turn the line is gone and it takes me to the ships waiting for move orders. The only way they'll move is if the space I want them to move to is within the move spaces they can make that turn. All of a sudden this jus
Thanks! Great advice! I think I'll browse through the strategy forums, try out a few things, and then post again with more specific subjects.
Hi there! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so sorry in advance. I love GalCiv2 and all of its expansions, but I'm not very good at it. I'm not a Noob either though. The highest level I can play it is normal, but I usually lose. So I was wondering, what can I do to get better? I've played many games, but I just can't quite advance from where I am right now. Thanks to all who can help! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/BigSmile.gif
I used all of your great strategies and everything worked out really well. I eventually gave up though because they ended up conquering planets too close to mine and could reach my planets with transports in one turn. I could also only knock their ships down to 1 HP. Once their ships had 1HP they could not be destroyed for some reason. Oh well, thanks so much to you all!
Thanks for all of the tips! So it seems like as long as I can keep my plantets safe, there is no disadvantage to taking a while to research higher weapons and such. Sadly, in the mission I'm doing I can only research beam weapons. I guess I'll just have to get really high level ones. My last questions are these: 1. What is a good infracture for my planets, and when should I upgrade the builings on them? 2. How do I go about making credits if the Dreadlords con
Thnaks for the ideas they worked really well! Now that my worlds aren't being invaded I feel much safer, however I can't figure out how to build a ship strong enough to overtake theirs. If I build a ship with a lot of lasers it'll get picked off before even making it to their planet, and if I build a fast ship with not as many lasers it will be far to weak, or will get destroyed orbiting my planet while I'm building up an army of them. Anyone remember how they got passed this mi
Hi there! I don't post here very often, but I'm a big fan of the game and enjoying it a lot. I am however, terribly stuck on the Achilles Heel Mission of the first story mode that came with the original game. I have tried many times but I just can't win! I'm playing on normal and would like to keep doing so. If anyone can give me a strategy about this mission I would be very thankful!
