Sounds like you all are playing rebels wrong then. My rebel strausing to use the Truce tech. By going for it immediately and building one or 2 colony ships you can conquer many wells with no additional resources. You can then use the saved resources on upping your economy thus raising your resource input well beyond the loyalits. After that you just build the Titan and can do so easily with just a little luck on start (close wells and resources).&

You don't need the email. I downloaded and was playing before I got it. Log in to theirdownload center ayouths beta is their with a key. Use that in the steam client and it will start downloading.

@JohnJames No thats my point. Its not less income. You get wayyy more quite quickly because you can claim the wells you want with no battle right in the beginning. Here is why. Normal strat is some explore and build a small fleet to take neighboring wells. Sometimes you have to reach out further because neigboring wells have little resources so you skip the battle (with neutral). @Riddleking Maybe in a 1:1 you could, but in a larger game rush strategies fail. I was playing huge with impossible AI, and I surrounded the star quite quickly and cut off most players from each other. My resource output was so large I had my Titan just as they were distributing star bases. Havnt finished yet but the system is mine....

Is it just me or are the TEC rebels WAAAAAY overpowered? Just keep building colony ships and Akkons (colony capital ships) right after you get "Truce Amoungst Rogues" (tech that makes neatral your ally). Neutrals will protect you "enough" early on. By the time you are noticed as a threat you have so much income you can build any fleet you need (including your Titan) Build 2 Civic research centers, research logistics upgrade, build another Civic research center a

Wailed through techs to see the Titan. Very kEwl..... Butttt what happened to the zooming? I can only zoom in so far and it is somewhat annoying. Other than that very keel additions. Want/need the other races but with just TEC it makes me think of star wars so I can survive for a while:p Hope your progress continues and you keep the com lines open. Where is it in the Tech tree for Entrenchment? I do not see it in the new defence tree anywhere or where it use to be. I have gone through every icon in the trees (that I can tell) and see nothing that resembles what grants me access to the Repair Platform... This is really annoying.

I would really like this also... I mean WTF is the dang Repair Platform??? There are too many changes that maybe they thought were subtl but is a pain in the a$$ to figure out. Only takes a bit of time for some (WTF did you swithc default hot keys for crystal and metal sale???) but seriously where t f is the dang repair platform?!?!?
