I think the AI is fantastic, if you play enough that something is predicable, a post tends to be enough to get them to improve the AI in that area. Everyone plays differently so will have different experiences and the AI is improved with each patch based on community feedback.
People, wake up.
Are you actually listening to the rabble rousing that you are doing here? It's so hyperbolic. Looking at it from a neutral standpoint, lets assume P&F win. Do they gain anything from the DMCA? No. They do not. Lets consider what happens if the DMCA was taken to court and P&F won, it would give large companies like EA the ability to take down any game they liked and cripple

@Kazriko - a build that Linux native is in the works, if you but the PC version now you'll get both when it's out as that's how steam works :D
Do you have the game on Steam or GoG?
Very sweet patch *drools slightly*
Your best bet is to email Stardock Support, they tend to be very good with these things and will have much more access to your account and the Demigod back-end than a forum moderator like me has. Don't worry too much, they will look after you :)
It's something that should be (easily?) mod-able in the future, if it is not already. I didn't find them frustrating myself but that doesn't invalidate your opinion, I'm sure others share it.
Today I became a moderator. So how do I play this again?
Unsubing from this, I don't have time for when so many of the ignorant choose to remain so.

But as you've said yourself, opinions mean very little at this stage, he tends to point out anything glaringly wrong and in not doing so means it'll probably be in proceedings for a while. I personally hate the way P&F forced this into the public like they did, this stuff never

There is a court date... this is not going to go well for P&F if I've followed this correctly... Time will tell I guess.
Except, if P&F loose then they are most likely liable for damages for loss of sales... which they were getting royalties for from Stardock anyway. This is so messed up, they could most certainly be sued for liable. - Besmirching the Brand of Stardock causing loss of money From what I hear, Stardock is not going full on with their lawyers. They are going full on good guy about this while P&F are going about it.. well.. illegally. It's not something that should be done p
Hmm, I'd hope to see them release a standalone on the back of Stardock's engine, to be published by Stardock. But I'm sure for reasons of personal or business, this has already been discussed and shot down (most likely a non-compete from Activision).
I see the ploblem being one of dificulty in player optimisation, I'd have a system where each building has a pop requirement to run at full efficiency, then rather have different ways to get a planet going you have a system where you need to balance pop with when they can mostly support a new structure (should be percentage bassed) and then ypu have to consider food as a limiting factor to max pop. TLDR, get rid of cities and have the hub graphics change to represent pop size, then ma
Defence buildings get upgrades, why not radar? Having units to scout while the radar upgrades adds game-play. Having a high end tower creates a nice target for a suicide bombing run before a large attack if not quite defended enough. To me, having the option of multiple radar vs a T2 and T3 radar or a mix for coverage just seems like a better idea than not having it on multiple game-play scenarios.
