It can earn you a reputation online. Though the community should be large enough for you to do this safely. However, dont do it with more experienced players, they will kill you, then track you down and kill you in many more of your games to come.

Thats kinda the point, people who have an advantage should try to exploit it. I mean I haven't seen that extreme of a situtaion(cause people usually spend the crystal, not sell it). But the fact that an economic player has great influence in a game is a good thing in my opinion.

It is very difficult to use culture to flip planets now. Unless you are the advent and you have their superweapon it is actually pretty impossible. Culture spread has been severly modified and one broadcast center can easily counter three. The best you should expect from culture is the fact that it raises your allegience, earning you more cash, and lowers your enemies. Well that, and the fact that culture supposedly helps firepower, but I haven't seen much of that yet.

As it is actually fighters are better against seige frigets then bombers are. Seige frigets are lightly armored, and fighters are good against lightly armored things. So he does have a point. The bombers should still attack the caps and the fighters should break away for the seige frigets. Also it seems the AI doesnt relise that a unit is almost dead and still targets it sometimes. I have had bombers rush all the way across the map just to reach the reckage that was the ship my capships
