So the devs need to figure out how to make it a lot clearer that the Vasarin advantage lies in mobility.
I think they tried to by the fact that they nearly doubled the amount of area they have given for sub light movement around planets. To a Vasari player this could me the ability to completly ignore any heavily fortefied planet.
I'm saying you guys pooped out and threw a temper tantrum
I was actually fine.
90% of the general populace isnt like that.
Yes, your evidently high level of social knowledge and charisma totally allows you to know that.
I'm happy, everyone else good?
Actually, I am. I have barely played the Vasari yet, and as far as it goes I might abondon them, I seem to have grown to accustomed to the TEC, and it just doesn't work for the Vasari. A few pointers in playing styles is all i need now.
and I'm the arrogant, wrong, stupid bastardy one.
*quickly goes and runs into the End of the Universe bunker*
and come on. bombing then resettling is stupid enough for tec only, but for aliens? first bomb everything down, then resettle it, with humans even? plain stupid. and those bombardement weapons are wmd and they dont just kill the ruling class or the command infrastructure, the destroy everything on the planet and thats the simple truth. or are they using neutron bombs or some nanotech that just kills certain ppl. barely.
Vasari always need slaves...
seriously, you have been so utterly crushed under the weight of evidence and INTELLIGENT and EXPERIENCED player commentary that we need a spatula to take your head out of the dirt.
I read this sentance twice, not only is it not funny, it is also wrong. On another note, I never took the Lore for anything solid, its only Lore, and it was never hugely specified. No numerical evidence whatsoever. I mean we can't even say the Exodus Fleet is small. An empire that en

Um... I got angry at the game cause it made me lose several fleets that way(i couldnt find them cause of the overlap didnt allow any symbols what so ever to show up). I will try to re make this scenario, give me a day though

I will miss the old kol and all of its weirdness... Will this mean other TEC ships might get updated looks, cause in that case make the Akkan pretty.

Thhis problem has returned in a recent game of mine my ships chaced a trade ship of the enemies that didn't phase space but instead continued sub light speed travel. Also it seems that on random maps where stars overlap each other the game has problems with identifying where the planet that overlaps actually is, making no icons appear on the map for the planet and having no identifyable phase lanes.
(and with the last presidential and the last mid-term election voter turnout has been increasing...the last mid-term election had the highest turnout for a mid-term election since 1972, this means that more people are actually using their right to vote).
Scewed statistics, we have more people now then we did in 1972.
Well I can see Schod's response now...and it ain't gonna be pretty
Yes, but it leads to discussion.
that i just tested, and both of them carried 65 credits. plus the trade bonus due to distance were 4.6 for Vasari and 3.4 for TEC. i do think the TEC should carry more as they are the traders.
Not necessarily, the Vasari have to have good resource allocation in order to quickly profit from any venture. Plus I think its a balance against the high prices of the Vasari.
yes, you're right for a 1v1 battle, however a vasari light frig is almost as costly as a kodiak in almost all respects (all almost, not almost all actually... nevermind, stupid grammatical distinction) so the TEC can easily outperform the Vaz tit for tat.
Last time I looked Kodiaks were way more expensive then Vasari Light Frigs.
