Lurker77: Well, after I installed it, it was just to complicated for me.
GC2 is a very complex game and will require you to read on how-to play it. In the long run the time spent learning how to play this game with be worth it. I'm not a big fan of TBS games, but this one is different ...

After playing a few games of sins. You will need to send support ships to attack the pirates. Four or five ships should be able to kill off the pirates. So, you can take it over and start mining the resources.

I agree, the auto saving feature is a good idea. It should be a setting in the options area to set the interval when it auto saves the game.

MS Vista is still too new for gaming IMO ... Most drivers like sound and video still need work. MS Vista is a good OS, but still needs work too. I've beta tested it and have a copy of MS Vista ... I still haven't installed it. I'm waiting for SP1 and better video drivers. MS WinXP Pro w/SP2 is the OS for gaming .... If you have a new laptop from HP or Dell computers ... Call tech support and request a copy of MS WinXP Pro... If they don't want to give a

Hi, You might think about waiting a little longer. What are your plans and what type CPU you planning on getting? The type of CPU you get will make a big difference .. If you are going to low cost, but good value ... I would get a AMD CPU ... the new AM2 socket .. If you do that you will need new memory DDR2 ... You should be using SATA 2 hard drives So you will be dropping around $800 - $1000 US dollars .. Asus mot

I think MS Vista is a step forward. In the coming weeks the drivers will get release and most will like it. MS Vista needs new hardware to run it, but CPUs,hard drives, video cards and other stuff is alot cheaper now. You can get a very nice system for under $700 not including a LCD monitor and MS Vista CD. I also like linux, but it's don't for gaming. I use Gentoo and I like it for work and studies. I would drop MS if a distro could run PC games without using wine.
