Iv'e been using Winamp as my music player for years now and i'm bored with it. So, i'm looking for alternatives. I have iTunes, but i don't care for it, i use it to manage my idevices. I'm not looking for anything fancy, as long as it plays mp3 and has decent file management. So, what do you use, or recommend? I'm on win7 if that's a concern. Thanks!

I have XLaunchpad installed (just did it now) and it seems to be working well with SD gear. I havent tried it all but i have Fences Pro, Objectdock Plus, WB 7 and Tiles all running atm and no issues. Only oddity i found is that the default way to activate the Launchpad is to double click the desktop, and that obviously messes with Fences. Launchpad offers many ways to active though, i'm using move mouse to top left croner of screen, and finding it the easiest. I dow

The above quote seems to suggest they were. Who in their right mind is stupid enough to have listed your address and phone number with Facebook, or any other Social media site?? Those that do so, well i won't say deserve to be in strife, but they certainly won

Thanks Mina!! I had been looking for a new avatar for a while, it needed to be both evil and yet still look amazing! I think this fits the bill perfectly, also, it brings focus to the eye much like the ToE avatar does. :)

I do beleive your dock settings are kept. I'm going off the top of my head, but in Win7 the path would be something like C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus It's been some time since i used XP, so i cannot recall the exact equivalent location, but that should get you looking in the right place. You want to look for the backup.ini and settings.ini file, with those i think you can get your dock looking how you had it. :) <edit

Realistic question here. Does anyone think (or is it even possible) that any of the actual good stuff thats wrapped up in Win8's shitty exterior will or could make it into a Win7 SP2? I really like the ribbon in explorer, plus alot of the new disk functions i saw, along with the new Taskmanager, and i'm sure plenty of other goodies i'm forgetting. (or didn't see since i bailed on 8 very quick) I won't ever be using metro. I didn't like it, period. I&#3

Would they really care if it meant people were migrating to the new OS? I have to say though, i don't even understand why MS is going with metro? It's not like MS dominate the tablet market or anything? It would be one thing if MS tablets were the dominate device, but are they? i don't know anyone using a MS OS on anything other than their desktop, so why even bother with metro in the first place. Only tablet users will really love it. (generally speaki
I just hope the make a desktop version that does not have to have Metro as the default UI... that users can disable it should they desire.
Failing that, Stardock manages to do this themselves.
