I have been away for a longtime from GC III, but looking at getting back into a great 4X space game. How is the expansion and does it satisfy a lot of the problems from the early days? Improved starbases etc.... TX

Also, i think the nodes needs a symbol with different levels, or a system similar to SoTSE to show what areas are weak and strong. Right now, kinda hard to see my strengths and weaknesses on the mini map. This is more of a factor on larger maps battling on multiple fronts.

I think Ashes is too much into the grey scale color scheme. Units, buildings, UI needs much more primary color differentiation (See Supcom 2) for quick interpretation of what is going on in game. Everything has a washed out grey color to it. Thoughts?

I am digging the new videos. The concept of zone control looks good. Not seeing much information on game structures. Will there be point defenses to fortify areas of control? P.S. I see you have already conquered 2 of the critical problems of previous large scale rts games. A solid game engine and ease of creating maps to enhance replayability.
