WOOHOOO!!! Congrats!! Glad I timed it just right. Just built a whole new computer system last week to play Ashes in its full glory!

I have been away for a longtime from GC III, but looking at getting back into a great 4X space game. How is the expansion and does it satisfy a lot of the problems from the early days? Improved starbases etc.... TX
Building a new computer, what monitor resolutions does Ashes support? Using a 2560 x 1440 monitor. TX
I cant wait to stomp around smashing tanks.
Also, i think the nodes needs a symbol with different levels, or a system similar to SoTSE to show what areas are weak and strong. Right now, kinda hard to see my strengths and weaknesses on the mini map. This is more of a factor on larger maps battling on multiple fronts.
I think Ashes is too much into the grey scale color scheme. Units, buildings, UI needs much more primary color differentiation (See Supcom 2) for quick interpretation of what is going on in game. Everything has a washed out grey color to it. Thoughts?
Great ideas here!
I LOVED observer mode in Supcom 2. Watching the AI's duke it out and learn new strategies.
A great mod for you to try out is 7DS by danman games in the mod section. Greatly expanded tech trees, new races, new ships and lots of glorious goodies.
Awesome job! This is exactly what i hoped for in Ashes, lots and lots of replayability.
Great news!
Sticky Post! I will be referring to this a lot.
i7 930, GTX 760, 14GB, Win 7
Is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bughunt?
I missed the Twitch TV streaming this morning, work. where can i see a replay of it?

It will open your world up to any number of more modern games than Supreme Commander and make you a far more effective player. I think peop
Kane, a recommendation to you for turtle games, check out Creeper World 3. sells for a couple bucks on steam. It is all turtle.
I know Servo is in the extreme early stages, but I really dig the fundamental concepts of the game.
We really need a new thread, of "Let's Play" to "Let's Play Alpha for SotS for Founders" Weekend is almost here, ready to play test!
Realistically guys, there is Zero need for max zoom out if the mini map provides adequate information on current state of the battle.
I am digging the new videos. The concept of zone control looks good. Not seeing much information on game structures. Will there be point defenses to fortify areas of control? P.S. I see you have already conquered 2 of the critical problems of previous large scale rts games. A solid game engine and ease of creating maps to enhance replayability.
I am ready to Alpha Test!
Scuttle and rebuild - faster. And no, it shouldn't be faster to build a new ship that to repair a damaged one.
that is a retarded design decision.
Taking for ever for ships to heal. Even sent then to my starbase and only healing 4pts per turn. Any way to speed this up??
