Its hit the cap for that level of difficulty - so it shuts down lots of resource to claw back cash until the economy is back in balance - "balance" in this case is -2000bc. It probable that a close inspection of income bearing assets will show many if not all at zero, providing the means to rebalance the debt. Such drastic action also affects the stated income figure depending on how its chosen to forcefully rebalance everything and whats left, that has not been shut down, to show

The whole thing is a risk judgement, ie how much anyone is prepared to take. With the system he is going for 800/850 is crazily high, way over the top. 650/700 is usual for good reason all based on max power useage with some to spare for future beastie upgrades. Can it run on lower - yup for sure, its just a case of how much the beastie is going to be used, whether it will ever hit max cpu useage, and the amount of risk anyone is prepared to take - and whichever way you cu
I run a 9800GTX+ on a Phenom II 940, I have a 700W Enermax PSU from its original build 3 years ago (was a FX60 with twin 7800GTXs SLI), and its boarderline now that the case has a new motherboard, card and quad cpu. Does it run? Yes it does, but there are times when I hit a peak or attach lots of ancillaries like external hard disks, cameras, printers, headphones yaddie yadda - all the stuff we plug in these days without thinking, and it groans a bit
The difference between Impulse and Steam: Stardock/Impulse focuses on customer Care therefore makes lots of cash. Steam focuses on making cash, bolts on customer service, and therefore fails on both. There is a huge difference between Customer Care and Customer Service . Because Stardock practice the former, the latter just happens as a natural by product. Steam has no idea what the concept of Customer Car

One of the Structural issues with the game is once an area is captured/dominated, little happens - its very linear, all the "action " is up front. GalCiv 3 needs a new "big idea" conceptually to differentiate itself from previous versions to be saleable - incremental change of existing concepts is unlikely to be enough from a commercial viewpoint. The Events developments do attempt to fill the void that exists after taking an area/zone, and stop (to a degree) players leav

If there are any Chinese speaking forum members on tonight, would be most grateful for an assist on another forum. An individual has a problem getting going on his PC, we know whats wrong, but he doesnt speak English. If would be great if someone could help us get across to ths guy what he needs to do. Its the SETI Project. If there is anyone who could post a suitable reply translating from the english written solution grateful you have a look here: <a href="http://s
Great stuff - well done :) Keep your eye on Graphics Drivers - the GalCiv devs will automatically use any improvements in the Drivers as it gives us an ever improving game. If the driver you have loaded does not know about a particular routine they are using, it defaults to a slooooow routine to keep you going else you would in all likelyhood crash. It will be why the other games worked and GalCiv didnt - our Devs were using the latest uptodate facilities t
Other ideas - more to trigger thought than definitive probables .... - Sound Card, often a culprit of the wacky faults, check driver updates - Registry. Is it cleaned out? Use a Registry cleaner to check it - Uniblue do a good one, it doesnt cost much. Initial enthusiasm inherent in a new build means lots of loads and installs - registry can sometimes groan a bit under the weight of all the new stuff/deletions/poor software programming leaving bit
Worth checking your Video drivers and motherboard drivers/chipset are bang up to date - GalCiv devs will grab each new facility/improvement in updated drivers and use them where they can, and if yours are a couple or more issues behind - I once got caught after a game update being only one driver issue behind the curve - then the game will default to a less efficient use of the graphics drivers in order to keep you going. Given that Stardock issue so many updates and improvements, and m
I kept quiet on this one, as its not my election, I dont live there. Several things about the photos/comments struck me though. They were not "staged" in a sinister sense. The last was staged for sure, but its a natural follow on from the incident, and natural for the photographer to take advantage of what happened. The photographer, so it turned out after a lot of digging to find out who he was by a lot of people, was just a memebr of the crowd - not a mac
These photos really got to me, they are a perfect series of spontaineous shots taken on Election Night at the Park. They show in an incredibly powerful way what has been achieved. They are starting to go viral on the Web. Phenominal photos. Click external link above to view them. Regards Zy
nope - and if you've just had a run in with someone, dont worry about it, thats life "on the boards". The Sun always rises in the morning no matter how gloomy it seems during the night. Regards Zy

May well already be noted, but in case its my end .. After the change, the forum quote background colour is a very light blue, and the text white - which makes it hard to read, nearly impossible. Side effect of the change, or something I need to look at my end? Regards Zy
