Hey paxx, Did you ever write that 30 page tutorial....I could sure use it I have to admit that as a newbie to skinning I find it complicated..even with the 'tools' you mention....I'm a technical person (22 years programming everything from device drivers for windows to word processors in FORTRAN), but without some guide as to where to start (without ripping someone else's work) it becomes a matter

Frogboy, Right on the nose. I think the toymakers stopped catering to kids altogether. Checked out the link and I think it will be a long time before any of these interfaces are of any use..I expected an interface similar to the joke they used in the Jurrasic Park movie...not even close... I once had an idea for a 3D code debugger that would allow you to visually navigate through code execution...from function to function...carrying your luggage (stack, heap, etc...) with you...never got around to implementing it though...to busy having to work for a living...maybe someda

IMO debates are nothing more than a somewhat futile exchange of viewpoints (or beliefs). Not much more than idle chit-chat. Why do I say this? Because I believe that while it is always enlightening to see the 'world' as other people see it, it is a rare case when the tenets of an arguement (whether sound or not) sway the beliefs of the opposing view. Too many factors come into play...whether they be social, cultural or otherwise... No matter how objective one believes their viewpoint

Thanks for the info Chris...I've downloaded both, but have never played with them...didn't want to destabilize what I have now...I'm using DesktopX and Windowblinds exclusively...I'm very pleased with both as they accomplish all I need....once again, thnks for the info
