Hey...me too!!
Peff
I agree migellito....I actually like some of the shows a lot (Arthur, especially - that DW says the funniest things).....but God I hate those f%$^in' teletubbies!!!
Thought maybe you had the inside scoop, back then...
Only problem with Dylan was that he couldn't sing...sounds like Barney Fife on qualudes...but a genius, none the less...
Hyphen, I've got every transparent checking I can find set to on...no luck...I'll keep trying, though...Thanks
Maybe we can lump them all into one...let's see.... 1.) Wasn't Jesus one of Mary Magdalene's clients? 2.) Doesn't Jimmy Carter believe in Jesus and use a MAC? 3.) Isn't Jimmy's lawyer a democrat? No, not possible (NO lawyer is a democrat...snakes don't have a political affiliation) Now, That should do it!!
Oh, BTW...I think the knowledge base idea is great... SDN....microsoft will probably sue..
Hey paxx, Did you ever write that 30 page tutorial....I could sure use it I have to admit that as a newbie to skinning I find it complicated..even with the 'tools' you mention....I'm a technical person (22 years programming everything from device drivers for windows to word processors in FORTRAN), but without some guide as to where to start (without ripping someone else's work) it becomes a matter
Frogboy, Right on the nose. I think the toymakers stopped catering to kids altogether. Their main market seems to be the basement nerds you mentioned in point #4...who will hold on to their cheap figures in hopes that they can score off them 10-15 years from now on e-bay..or whatever is around then...It's a real shame. About the Steve thing....didn't I hear somewhere that he has/had a drug problem (heroin, I think)...probably just going into detox for a while...I wish him the
Checked out the link and I think it will be a long time before any of these interfaces are of any use..I expected an interface similar to the joke they used in the Jurrasic Park movie...not even close... I once had an idea for a 3D code debugger that would allow you to visually navigate through code execution...from function to function...carrying your luggage (stack, heap, etc...) with you...never got around to implementing it though...to busy having to work for a living...maybe someda
What sounds strange to me bmetelsky, is that you had 14.4 modems back in the early 80's....I remember dialing into my favorite BBS as 110 baud back then....
IMO debates are nothing more than a somewhat futile exchange of viewpoints (or beliefs). Not much more than idle chit-chat. Why do I say this? Because I believe that while it is always enlightening to see the 'world' as other people see it, it is a rare case when the tenets of an arguement (whether sound or not) sway the beliefs of the opposing view. Too many factors come into play...whether they be social, cultural or otherwise... No matter how objective one believes their viewpoint
Thanks for the info Chris...I've downloaded both, but have never played with them...didn't want to destabilize what I have now...I'm using DesktopX and Windowblinds exclusively...I'm very pleased with both as they accomplish all I need....once again, thnks for the info
Not on skinning specifically, but check out www.guisoft.com - they have a couple tutorials on doing some cool things with PSP
No you don't...I'm running it on Win2K AD...and it runs fine.
Paxx...will either Hoverdesk or Winstep run in conjunction with DesktopX and WindowBlinds?
CursorXP only works on XP???...weird...it works on my Win2K machine fine....looking at a cute flying plane right now....
It's a dead link frogboy...404...I only tried it twice, though...maybe it's busy?
....really...I didn't know he was a cop.....really really
Hey...I didn't know he was a cop! really!
Worth every penny! I'd be willing to pay the $20 and wouldn't have much of a problem with the $99.95...let's see @ $23 dollars a pint... Will the beta be available through component manager?
