I guess this is one of those things that might change during the beta testing. If imbueing (sp?) a lot of heroes or heroes gaining essence will be too overpowered, they will probably put some restrictions on it in some way. Maybe the amount of essence a hero will gain could be decreased, or maybe there is a limit on the number of heroes you can get... The are numerous ways in which this could be changed so it wont be too powerfull...

Personaly I've only read the first part, the others should be on their way... Other fanatasy series I really enjoy... 1. I've been looking / staring at the video for a bit, and I think they have a problem with dissapearing land tiles [e digicons][/e] I tried to read all the messages that appear under the map... There are some places I couldn't decipher a letter or word. If someone has better eyes, feel free to correct me. ** Land tiles after Initial Land is generated ** Total land tiles: 3575 Bottom water

Thanks for the new info Frogboy... Can't wait to get my greedy hands on this game... [e digicons][/e]
If life channelers (humans) end up with lush green lands, life-giving spells and death channelers (fallen) end up with barren lava wastelands and withering spells, then life/death just becomes good/evil.
Maybe I understood it wrong, but as I understand it, the Life / Death divide isn't the same as the Human / Fallen divide. In other words, I think (hope)

Nice... But I should still have a copy of that game around somewhere... [e digicons][/e] I've been playing Oblivion again for some time, I'm playing it with the Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul mod, and some other smaller changes, it makes the game feel a lot more epic then the standard version...

I'm also a WoW player here, and I must say I really like the variation in the achievements WoW has. Some are just a silly waste of time (Like Friend or Fowl? or Goind Down? ), other you'll get almost automatically while playing the game (<a title="Reach level 80" h

Absolutly, this is something I really appreciate about the Blizzard forums... You can scan all the threads to see the one a Blizzard Employee made a post in and jump straight to that post as well. Also the possibility to jump to anohter Blizzard post within the same thread can be very usefull.

After reading some posts here which mentioned Dwarf Fortress, I've downloaded it and been playing it on and off for a few months now. If you're interessted in playing this, I can really recommend the tutorials by TinyPirate at the Bay12 forums: http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=31928.0 It takes a bit to get used to this game, but the tutorials and a graphic pack (if you don't like the ASCII) really hel

Well, if they look at who is very active at hte forum, I don't think I really make much of a chance. I post now and then, but lurk a lot. By the time I see a thread, most of the time someone else has already posted a reply close to what my reaction would be. I'm not really someone who just posts to say 'me too' so... I wouldn't mind if the yetis would get a buff, but I don't think it's really all that necessary. I've been playing Sedna a lot online, and I always go for the yetis. And I haven't been doing all that bad I think... You win some, you lose some... In the end, it's only a game [e digicons][/e]

I just played a very unsatisfying Skirmish round of Demigod. A 4 people game was forming, 3 people connected to each other just fine, but the fourth couldn't connect to anyone. Suddenly that person dissapeared from the connection screen and the game started with only the three of us, without a bot to add a fourth player. Well, let me just say that I didn't had a really good feeling about that from the start and off course I was killed over and over without much chance to win. I know s

With the third choice added, I'd go for that one although I'm still very interested in option 1. In the long run, I think option 3 sounds like a nice middleground that would make the most people happy if there are enough ways to manually fine tune some resources. But I'd still love to see the possibility for the first one being added later. [e digicons]|-)[/e]

Had the same problem, I have Win XP 64 and after downloading the installation stopped at 0 or 1%. The file it stops at seems to change sometimes after a computer restart. Downloading with Archive and restarting in Safe Mode also solved this problem for me... I had this same problem with the latest beta, but because I left for a vacation soon after it arrived, I never followed through on it. I also had a similar problem installing the latest GalCiv 2: Twilight of the Arnor beta and that was s
