The original version? It was a board game, it didn't even go electronic until 1.0X.

It's funny, I'm running firefox 1.5, and when you cursed and ended with a @ symbol, it interprets it to be an e-mail address. I am personally very happy you went over budget on the after market updates. SInce my play computer isn't hooked up right now (summer vacation from school) it's going to be like playing a brand new game when I get back. I have a question though, is there a seperate team working on Dark Avator right now? And if so, are they just updateing thier AI c
A feature that I would love to see in the shipbuilder, is a toggler swtich to "activate" or "deactivate" a compnent. For example, if you want to put a bunch of guns on your ship for the look they give, but only have room for a couple, have a switch that makes a slected weapon inactive, so it is there only to balance looks.
Yeah, I wans't sure of the exact wording.
Onthe colony screen (witht he tiles) click on your colony managment button. This allows you to do all that fun stuff, like rename, blow up, etc.
Ok, if you are going to get the expansion pack, then you must purchase it online (it isn't being sold in stores). If you are purchasing it online, you must provide your e-mail address. So, why do you care? You must give them your address to get it anyway. So, your pointis moot. I understand where you are coming from as far as patches go, but it doesn't matter as far as the add on is concerned.
China and North Korea's relationship the last several years can be described as strained. Further, China is emerging as one of the strongest economies in the world, with the Untied States being it's principle trading partner. Most likely, were the U.S. to shoot down the test missle, China would make some noise but not much else. They know a war in Korea would bring immediate American involvment, and that the U.S. has said it would be willing to us tactical nuclear weapons in the def
Dang, that's a great idea, I'll have to try that one out.
Yeah, I'll pre order the $25 one. I really don't play games that much anymore, and with a monster school semester coming this fall, I don't a lot have time (or money) to spend on things I might not like. I like GalCiv, it isn't as obtrusive a game as others (good for school work since it's just a turn here or there), and from what they have said about the expansion, it will answer all but one of the things that I feel the game lacks (would like multiplayer, oh-well). Plus, that epic
Spoiler!!! At the end of the campaign, the humans are conquered by the Drenjin, but a fleet manages to transport to a pocket universe, both to ensure survival, and to prepare for thier eventual return. If you played Moo2, it's sort of like the Antarians, except self imposed for safety. So, it would make sense if the humans aren't that important in the expansion.
Epic Generator! Definitly my favorite of the proposed additions. Too bad for the Altarians, I guess Billy Idol wanted his hair back, and came to collect.
IT's your cultural boundry. Anything on your side is under your cultural influence, anyhting ont he other side is either neutral, or under foreign influence.
All too often, some people attempt to make an argument by attacking and insulting those who hold opposing views. This ridiculas thread's announcements are a perfect example. Let's get down to brass tacks: It does not take much perspicacity to see that this ridiculas thread is unable to distinguish bona fide science from astrology, channeling, crystal healing, telekinesis, psychic surgery, and all the other New Age pseudoscientific drivel floating about. Think about it, and I'm sure you'll agree
22 here.
Bump. Why? I like to see my stuff on the forum list.
Here's my record, a Class 72. Link I just saw that the save game and image links I posted have been taken off (there is one on the forum post though), and my copy is on my school computer, I'll have to poke around to try and find it. It was on version 1.0X, no modding or cheating.
Yes, if you go through Stardock Central, you can download the game by entering your serial # and info.
Primitive Races WILL join my faction, that is, IF they know what's good for them. Planets revolting and declaring independence will be quickly razed, rebuilt, and repopulated. All that oppose my supreme wil shall be enslaved to labor in the tofu mines. Local delegation of authority will only be delegated to those soldiers deployed to the local. They WILL thank me when it's over. Just kidding, I'd love planets to declare independence if morale is too low, and l
Oregon Trail. I got hooked on it in school, then we got in for our old Apple (the kind where it was a monitor, and a huge keyboard with a floopy drive mounted ont he side, only had green and black color, I think it was a //c). Rafting down the Columbia river was awesome, and wiping out herds of buffelo while hnting (if you were patient enough!) M002 came next, followed by Fallout (it had turn bassed combat, so I figure it counts).
I play as the Rapscallions.
Someone could do a freelancer mod, or a Starship Troopers.
You could have a colony cap based upon your logistics ability. The problem I see with it though (as with any limiting factor), is what happens if you are at your colony limit, go to war, and now have to invade planets? Would conquered planets not count towards your total?
I have seen an AI recover. The Drenjin got beat back to one system, witht he rest of the galaxy occupied. Then I got jumped by all the other races (which I had been supporting in thier wars against he Drenj. ). That ticked me off, since I had basicaly been spoon feeding them all. Well, under thier combined might, they (about six or seven races) beat me back to three planets, so I decided to take everyone down with me. I gave all my tech to the Drenjin, and what little money I had I gave tot
I'll admit, I was getting a little bored a while ago. Then school ended, I moved back home for the summer, and due to space issues, I can't set up my computer. I've been off gaming now for a month, and while it's not bad (I went for two years with out them, ended a year ago), I've definitly gotten more excited to play it again, especially with all the new updates. Nothing wrong with getting tired of something, if you're getting bored it's better to cut back then to burn out. Play s
Yes (since an example was stated that they would allow so oyu can have it one one's laptop), so long as your boss allows it. If I'm wrong, then I stand open for correction.
