As far as your first request, I don't know of a way to adjust syart menu location. As far as your second ?, all the fonts on the start menu can undividually be adjusted fir font type shadow and color. Any ? on how to do it let me know.

Every time I apply changes to a skin, Skin Studio locks up and won't apply the changes. If I do it through Windowblinds there is no problem. Any help would be appreciated. all you need is a set of 3 three buttons. normal, pressed and mouse over. the three buttons will be used on both logoff and shutdown. typically i use generic buttons, that way there is none of the mixing of logoff for shutdown or vice versa.

use the three button state. trust me it works. i've done this many times. iwhen you use the three button state it will show both logoff and shutdown buttons. i can't think of a reason you would need anymore than logoff and shutdown. the nine button state will not show mouse over. the only way to get that to work is using the xp classic colors. <br

this is an easy fix; done this many times. go into skinstudio and make an image for the logoff buttons that is transparent. next go into logoff buttons background and again make a transparent image. next in logoff buttons background glyph is where you will put your shutdown buttons. play with the alignments a little and the buttons actually will show in normal and mouseover. any ? contact me. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gif" bo

go into skinstudio to start panel. go to user panel and places list. make sure transparency and translucency are enabled. they should be. next make sure the files are .tga or .png; not .bmp. adjust sizing margins to exclude the shadow. if that doesn't work, edit the shadow out the panels. and yes i am a plumber! for real!

Custom image in start menu places? in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Does anyone know of a way to use custom images in start menu "places". In skin studio under place there is no spot for a custom image. I really don't want to use thr highlight colors. This is the last custom image I need to do and the theme will be highlight free. On a side note. What is up with the Wincustomize sight? It used to be very good. I guess bigger isn't always better.
