LOL I know this wont help but.... Use XP :LOL: No problems running under that operating system. In all seriousness though try opening the folder the program was installed to and run it from the direct exe there. Thatmight help, though i doubt it. Worth a try though :) Best of luck!

Doubtful but it wouldn't hurt to contact sales anyhow. Did you register the serial number when you first purchased the game? If so you can get your serial numbers back by contacting Stardock. If you didn't then i am afraid you are looking at possibly a total loss for the game unless you purchase a new copy.

Finally on the monthly report screen that pops up the context for the race appears to be incorrect. Not exactly sure what it says as i am not in front of the game right now, but i will add the text in here later for you.

BTW i also have noticed that the stock colonizer and constructor are now not showing on the screen either! This only affects the stock ships, not the ones you create yourself. CTD on TA ship designer in Beta Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Tried to alter the stock transport as it was coming up blank on the screen again. On entering the ship builder all was fine until i tried to remove a few peces off the ship at which point the game CTD.
