If you're on XP and have the trial version, that's apparently normal behaviour. If you're using the enhanced version, try re-installing it.
. . . and because it wouldn't really be in Stardock's interest promoting something that is directly opposed to one of it's main products. Besides, with all the colour combinations they come in, they're way too big.
It actually worked for me, once, when one of my thumbnails wasn't a proper thumbnail, just a bit off the top left of the preview. So it has worked in the past.
Hippy: Want to bet? Check Docking Station. It has animation followed by showing buttons - just the sort of thing you want to do. With scripting you can do an awful lot . . .
Try downloading the file to your hard drive with save as..., then rename it to {logonname}.zip. Then extract to a subdirectory of c:\program files\wincustomize\logonstudio (or wherever you installed it) with the same name as the logon.
I personally liked AVI's playing on the desktop. Sure, it takes up 40% CPU time, but . . . For the future, perhaps.
It is just a driver issue. I can tell you from first-hand experience that a GF4 Ti 4600 is no better. :-\

That is permanently excluded because it has problems when skinned by WB (black bits covering the windows etc). To see, try renaming the WMP executable file and running it. Would be nice if these could be fixed, at least if using a UIS1 skin . . . it does show up a bit.
They take money orders, too. If you want toolwindows skinned, add SkinToolWindows=1 to wb.ini. Might not work in all situations . . .
You've probably got something that's interfering with WB when it loads. Certain firewall programs have particular problems. Try disabling other things that start on startup, and see if that fixes the problem. If so, put them back on again until it starts freezing, and you'll have found the problem.
Strange. This may have something to do with a related problem (MS programmers hardcoded some values so if you disable toolbar skinning the left-hand background looks bad). Note that you can temporarily disable skinning of new windows by holding down CTRL as they appear, so you don't have to unload if you're having problems.

Alexandrie: Actually, there is quite a lot a skin can do to ruin your day in the way of plugin DLL's, but I suspect the problem may lie in the use of SmartButtons in the skin. Unfortunately, I'm not sure of any solution, other than to ensure you have the latest versions of both the skin and WindowBlinds. Contacting Stardock with details is definitely the best bet.

If you are getting no response at all from Stardock support then something is definitely wrong. All emails to [email protected] get an automated reply prior to being responded to by a support representative - so if you didn't get that, then either something is blocking mail from you to Stardock or from Stardock to you. Are you running WebBlinds as well? If so, try disabling it temporarily to see if it's an additional cause of the problem . . .
Are you skinning Display Properties with WindowBlinds (usually it's unskinned)? If so, I think this is a known problem, due to be solved in 3.4.
Because the reason there are rippers at all is that people want to use the skins. They have a skinnable OS - they don't want to have to pay another $20 for the privilege.

Umm . . . what's your reasoning behind not using .suite files all the time? Even if it only contains, say, three things, the end-user might wish to apply only two. If it saves both them downloading it, and the site from uploading it, surely that's good for both parties?
OK. This is the way I see it: grayhaze would like his skin to be usable by as many people as possible. He is not willing to have his skin ripped, however. The question is, is it better to port, and possibly encourage modification of that port but at least have an authorised version, or to prevent all official ports/rips and have perhaps a few unofficial versions floating around? There are and have been similar programs for various versions of MacOS. The latest is called Duality (no, not the film) - see http://conundrumsoft.com/ for more information. WB is not likely to appear on the mac platforms.
Oh, you should use the Registry Editor ("regedit") for this. It works much like Explorer.
