Not as old as me. I remember the whole series Whacky Racers. About the screenshot thingie, some weird stuff has happened to me too with things getting lost in cyberspace. What I found particularly bizarre was the rating of zero I got for my latest one. Roflmao. Bugs, bugs, gotta love 'em.

Nope never heard of that proggie but here's what I did: I rebooted my entire system again. I downloaded WindowBlinds first before downloading any other Messenger programs. Y6 was the last thing I downloaded and it was working fine until I applied a WB. Well guess what? I like my WBs and I like my Yahoo so I tried what Koasati said to do... again, and I have WB set now to totally ignore Ypager.exe and... I can now right-click on my Yahoo Messenger and i

Thanks Koasati. I tried that, also tried installing Yahoo 5 which is independent of the Windows system schemes and it still @#$#ed up on me. I tried using y6 skins and also no skins whatsoever, and even did as you suggested to ignore the application and just have Yahoo be skinned as though it were in Windows Classic. No dice. No More Windowblinds :( in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

After careful experimentation with various installations and removals it's my sad duty to report that no matter what I do, WindowBlinds is not compatible with Yahoo Messenger v6 in that when I have WB loaded, I cannot right-click on my Yahoo Messenger links without closing the program. It gets highly annoying. I decided that I needed to keep Yahoo in lieu of WindowBlinds and just find another way to keep customizing. Think I found a viable solution alt

The same thing happened to me as well. I'm currently using IconPackager again but before I install a new package I make sure that IP's version of the "Default" icons match those found in Windows Folder Options as closely as possible. Yeah I mean maybe people are giving something 3 stars (which means a 6) and thinking that that is a good enough rating. I still say, do away with the policy that only skins with ratings above 7 can be visible to all. I think this would knock out a whole lot of the hurt feelings, people leaving the site, getting angry, and overall sentiment of disillusion that people are feeling as of late. To me, it would be a huge step in the right direction.

I have been told that it is a combination of how much effort the person put into the screenshot, how well everything fits together, how usable the setup would be on someone else's screen, and I guess to a degree how aesthetically pleasing (the color schemes) are.
