Glad to hear you're settling in, hon . . . I am. I am really starting to love it up here. No bad memories, and sushi and a very big library all in walking distance. I may stay up here for a while. <TR

I haven't had a chance to meet many people since I moved up here. Wasn't really expecting to. After all, I just moved last Friday, I'm constantly looking for a job, and I'm not a very outgoing person. However, my roommate's old roommate from across the street and I met the night I moved up here. After long discussions about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Ros
Hello everyone! I moved into my new apartment yesterday so I now have internet again. I have to say, I love my new place. We have brand new carpet (or virgin carpet, as my roomie likes to say) a new stove, new dishwasher -- the works. It's bigger than some apartments, though smaller than some. I love, love, love my room. It is a shrine to geekdom, but
Just dropping by to say "Hi" to everyone. I'll be back with continuous internet connection soon... but for now, I'm still going to be MIA. I'm visiting a friend who has internet, so I thought I'd better drop in and say hi. Sorry I can't comment on your articles... don't have the time. I'll try to catch up eventually. Love to you all! ~Sugar High Elf<!--
My vacation's almost over. Argh. I've had so much fun re-reading my Harry Potter books! But now, I'm starting the job hunt. See everyone soon!
I'm taking a mini vacation during the month of May. Now that I'm done with school, and I won't move into my apartment until June, I'm taking a much needed break. However, during this break, I won't have much Internet access, so I won't be around much. I'll check in every once in a while to see how everybody is doing and tell ya'll if anything interesting happens.<B
Reminds me of the time my friend almost blew her car up. We knew what we were doing with the cables, but it was a dark parking garage, and she couldn't see the markings on her battery, and put the switched the cables. It scared the stuffing out of us, but didn't damage the cars.I'm glad to find out that it wasn't really your fault after all. I'm with Toblerone though, I thought Orian was going to get it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ju/T_JU/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 align="absmiddle"
Thanks you guys. I really didn't think I'd be this excited... especially since I didn't even go... but I can't help having this big stupid grin on my face. WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recently discovered something about my housing staff. Apparently, we're all a bunch of alcoholics who have been drinking in our rooms all year long. Thing is, we all thought we were the only ones. So, last night, we gathered together to celebrate the end of the year by drinking in somebody's room. We knew we could drink together, because we found out on Friday,
That's right. Today is the day that I finally graduate from college. After changing majors three times and staying here five years, I am done. I will graduate with a BA in English and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. During my time at college, I have traveled t
Dang! This one's going to be fun. I'll try... but please don't expect much.
New challenge? But I still haven't been able to write LW's challenge! I'm calling it "Adventures in Toenail Clipping and Stuff". Darn these busy final days!
Got pictures? I'm still waiting for it to pop up on YouTube.
Just be careful if you go to walmart in those things. Gravity likes to take hold of blue jeans while you're in walmart.
Hey, Ben and Jerry are sometimes the only dates I have, so ya'll just lay off! And thanks LW. I plan to answer your challenge soon. Unfortunately, I've got too many checkouts to do at the moment. The only way I can respond right now is because I got ahead and I'm hiding at the moment.
Congratulations kiddo! Do you feel older? wiser? exhausted and ready to do nothing for the next couple of months? And didn't anyone tell you to start taking stuff home around Spring Break because you accumulate so much "stuff" over the year?
1. ParaTed! Good to see you around again! 2. This doesn't sound strange at all. My high school boyfriends guitar was named Lucy. He loved the Beatles that much. He "warmed her up" by playing the opening to Eleanor Rigby. He had to put her away when I came over so she wouldn't get jealous. (Ok, all of that is true, but the last thing he meant as a joke... I hope) It's great that you have such a cool passion. You can always tell
Oh, sweetie. Your post made me so sad! And I even knew the show was going off the air.
I refuse to tell my friends where I blog. I always call it "my blog site" or "the place I blog" and sometimes, when I'm not careful, "JU". For some reason, I really like my privacy here.
Bloody freaking double posts! I knew better than to try submitting again. I should have known that the response went through even though I got an error page! Oh well, more points for you!
I think I'm going to write a short story entitled, "adventures in toenail clipping" I feel inspired. Unless, of course, LW won't give me the rights to her phrase. I promise to give you credit if I ever write it! As for being featured: I'm not going to complain. I get a thrill when I click on the homepage and see something I've written staring back at me. I don't usually ca
I just know that if they search the books I've checked out of the library, they will have no doubt about two things. One, I'm an English major. No one else checks out that many books on Chaucer and Elizabeth Bishop. And two, I am a nerd. If you say too much they could start searching places you don't want other people in. But then, that's a good point. I think I'd rather stay below the radar.
Sugar High Elf, thanks! It's reassuring to hear. It's important to me that I don't shut the next person out of my life. I think if I don't talk about it, it will continue to bother me and I won't really deal with it. haha! I know that feeling. I feel like I blog about my ex too much... but then it always helps me work through stuff which is better than avoiding it. Glad you know that. As long as you know what your fears are, you'll be just fine. <im
I would love the chance to bitch slap boy george. Uncle Rummy, too. Careful. You could get labeled as a terrorist and the FBI might search your library records. And, honestly, I think Bushy does enough to make himself look foolish and make America a laughing stock. He didn't need help from Time magazine.
