I didn't really care for some of the song choices...such as Bo's and Jessica's... I actually thought they performed better than last week....I liked Nikko's rendition of Tevin Campbell's "Can we Talk"....but I'm being a bit partisan because I remember liking this song from the early nineties...(I think it was early 90s...) Nadia sounded good singing Melissa Etheridge, and Constantine surprised me by not sounding too bad doing Bonnie Raitt

I just had a chance to see this as well...yes, we all have probably heard this advice dispensed many a time, but thanks for reminding us. We do tend to forget things like this in our fast paced world...

Maybe because the events leading up to Easter are more solemn? I guess Christmas is just more happy go lucky for many...I view both with much significance...nice to see you writing an article, danny... haven't seen much of you around lately.
No gun for me, thanks...Maybe pepper spray or tasers like fellow teacher marcie suggested? (with proper training, of course)...I just hope and pray nothing like that ever happens at my school... we have what are called "code blue" drills here... we are warned over the pa system that we need to go on lockdown ...the kids know that they need to find a classroom ASAP and the teacher knows she needs to put them in an area away from windows and doors..
Happy Birthday... I turned 30 a few months ago...and I prefer to listen to "old time" music than alot of the stuff that is comin' out now...anywho...hope you had a good one!
Nice site=). I'm called by my first AND middle name, so when I put both of 'em in, it said it is not a very common name here in the U.S. My first name, rose, is number 65 in the most common female names.... I think I prefer my first and middle name combination
Congratulations. I say I am going to do this and that to lose weight, but I don't get myself on a regular schedule to do so.. I tell myself I'll start tomorrow then next week, then find myself saying that I am too busy and I'll start the week after...but I guess if you put your mind, heart, and soul to it, you can achieve it...you are a prime example of that
I lean toward the left, but wouldn't consider myself a bleeding heart liberal...from time to time, I'll respond to a political article, but as far as writing them, I don't feel as politically savvy (sp?) as others on here... It's funny how I have read that "righties" see "lefties" as having a superior complex... I was actually brought up thinking that conservatives looked down on our sorts (being a minority and being well, basically, bein

Alison: Thanks! How was your trip to "The heart of it all"? Trip went well ...although it was a bit cold! been busy trying to get things arganized..we hove LOTS to do...I'm sure I'll write about it sometime... Thanks for asking!
~I would consider InBloom, Marcie, and Foreverserenity as sisters~ Sweeeet... thanks for the compliment, Alison...or shall I say, "sis"...lol
I'll try my darndest to chill....just letting things overwhelm me lately...thanks IG
I agree with most of what you said....I think Nadia went wayyy over the top....I didn't like Anthony's choice of song...Bo still sounded great despite the mellow song....and Mikalah sounded awful...I actually wasn't very impressed with any of the performances tonight (although Carrie and Jessica sounded pretty good).
Relax, they tell me... stop worrying so much, Yet I have a hundred things on my mind...money matters and personal matters and new home matters and professional matters... Chill out, they say... But pressure from work builds... Paperwork needs to be done... Students need to be prepared for Standardized Testing... Lessons need to
Sounds Good! Hope both of you enjoy the experience.
I know this is waayyy late...I've been away for a week, but Happy Belated Birthday!!
My b/f and I have known each other for three years, been together for over 2 1/2 years...during our time together we have been through SO much...good and bad...pain and joy...we have gone through many types of thinking..."are we right for each other?", "are we meant to be?", "can we get through our differences?"...we have been through all of that, but here we are...still here and still in love and still sticking it out through thick and thin...it IS po
I loved this book...read it a few months ago...came upon it while browsing through a book store...Chris is one of the most interesting characters I have ever read about. I admired and ached for him at the same time.
Well, I've finally gotten to the point of singing along with the dumb commerical...lol....not as creepy as it first was
Thanks for the input, preacherman.
I've also noticed the past day or two how the forums don't seem updated.
