Glad to see that. The new minor AI can certinly make the game a bit more interesting.
Boom. That will be the last time I play as the Drengian. Foolish Drath built all there atk ships on cargo hulls. No match for my doom rays. The bugs were a bit wiser, but not by much. I love it when all of the AI use the same weapon. Make building ships lots easier. First game with no minors either. Need to make sure they are still enabled I guess.
Love the idea of Mega Events as well as al of the ideas posted above.
I have not had the event but can not see any added value in hundreds or thousands of ships poping out of nowhere.

By the time I got around to the high cost NLC last game I was at the end of the tech tree and already replacing the IM/DS to stock markets instead of upgrading to NLC. As it is now the NLC is more like a trade good.

Dropped another one in about 0300 today. Our empire is gaining ground! Welcomw Vulcan. I see that you have already made it over to the Core. One more game should land me back into the top 25. Haven't been there in a few months. Started the first or the racial victories. Used the Torians. Decent race to play with if you can stand all the green in the display. Any one know how often the Meta updates itself (not recalc). I am ranked 33 and with the score I have O should be ranked 26.

Estabilish your planets first. Try playing against fewer oponents. Gift them tech to keep them happy until you are ready to invade. The AI will usually only equip ships with one type weapon. Defend against that weapon and use a different one for attack.
